THE SCHEDULE
Here’s the schedule in it’s normal format with the additional xGA conceded home and away rankings. The value risk clarifications
Liverpool
There is value under £5m in the full back position but Alexander Arnold and Gomez seem to be in an RB job share. Robertson had the LB position when Moreno went off injured but with Moreno approaching fitness it’s uncertain what will happen there. Van Dijk, therefore, seems the best option unless someone nails either full back position. I also wouldn’t be surprised if a GK is bought in the window with the Coutinho money.
Arsenal
There’s injuries all over the place in the Arsenal defence but none seem particularly long term except maybe the Koscielny one. That limits replacement opportunities without a decent amount of risk attached. So the upshot is until the situation is clarified it’s Bellerin or Cech.
Southampton
The curse of the England GKs continues as Forster loses his place for the last 2 to £4.4m McCarthy. Whether that will last remains to be seen. Pellegrino is a born tinkerer
C Palace
Again injuries are making the selection a little unclear but Tomkins, who’s started the last 7, seems the most certain. The GK position seems all over the place so unless you got both you are really gambling
Stoke
Th Stoke defence is a mess but £4.0m Edwards has played the last 4 if you’re looking to save funds. Whether that will continue under the caretaker or new manager when appointed remains to be seen. I’ve just seen that Stoke have signed Austrian International RB Bauer which should mean the end of that

Were looking for good defences with GW23 being a good entry point and good fixtures onward as an ideal.
Chelsea – £5.6m Christensen or £7.3m Alonso if you’ve got the funds
Man Utd – £5.7m Jones 6 players who could hurt you if you don’t own them(Jones is one of the players in our article)
WBA – £4.5m Hegazi as a home rotation option. Next 5 home games (Brighton, Southampton, Huddersfield, Leicester and Burnley)
