FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE GW23 MIDFIELD PLAYER RANKINGS
Here’s the ranking table in it’s short form. Here’s the link to the google internet spreadsheet for the full stats tables with alot more info and a few more players added on. I’ve added more stats including the consistency of their returns, their position, whether they take penalties, set piece involvement and average minutes for the last 4 games.
Remember it’s their rank as a transfer target for this week. This can be affected by the next fixture. So a forward who’s next game is away to Chelsea will have their ranking diminished to some degree compared to someone who’s home to Swansea.
The columns are self explanatory. The fixt ease column shows the easiness ranking of the next 6 and 3 fixtures. Use this link to see the full fixture ease article.

Here’s the short table. Values are as of Thursday
SANCHEZ
Easily the top midfield player even having moved to the left side rather than the striker role. Great consistency, underlying stats and returns with 2 great fixtures in the next 3
Watford (H)
Chelsea (A)
Hull (H)
Southampton (A)
Liverpool (A)
Leicester (H)
ALLI
Practically playing as a striker with a fantastic ability to get into the box
Sunderland (A)
Middlesbrough (H)
Liverpool (A)
Stoke (H)
Everton (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
OZIL
A function of the 2 good fixtures in the next 3 plus good consistency of returns, his CAM position and set piece responsibility. Recent form has been good as well.
Watford (H)
Chelsea (A)
Hull (H)
Southampton (A)
Liverpool (A)
Leicester (H)
WALCOTT
The risk with Walcott is him coming back from injury and potentially a sub rather than starting. With good gametime he is a good bet to return
Watford (H)
Chelsea (A)
Hull (H)
Southampton (A)
Liverpool (A)
Leicester (H)
ERIKSEN
The Spurs set piece man has predominant set piece responsibility and has shown the ability to get into the box rather than just shoot from long range. However recent goal threat has dropped off strangely
Sunderland (A)
Middlesbrough (H)
Liverpool (A)
Stoke (H)
Everton (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
STANISLAS
A good fixture next for the Bournemouth set piece man but after that they do stiffen up. However his consistency and recent form has been very good as well as his underlying stats
Crystal Palace (H)
Everton (A)
Man City (H)
West Brom (A)
Man Utd (A)
West Ham (H)
DE BRUYNE
Another set piece man for Man City this time. Did play very well against Spurs in GW22 and has been consistent prior to a dip in form before last week
West Ham (A)
Swansea (H)
Bournemouth (A)
Man Utd (H)
Sunderland (A)
Stoke (H)
STERLING
The main issue with the Man City RAM is gametime and rotation. At the moment it’s pretty good but there’s alot of competition for the one spot. Good fixtures are the attraction
West Ham (A)
Swansea (H)
Bournemouth (A)
Man Utd (H)
Sunderland (A)
Stoke (H)
ANTONIO
Put him in an attacking position and he will score goals. Considering he has played some of the season at RWB his stats are very good both actual and underlying
Man City (H)
Southampton (A)
West Brom (H)
Watford (A)
Chelsea (H)
Bournemouth (A)
POGBA
The Man Utd midfielder has shown some good underlying stats even if these haven’t translated into returns as yet. Has shown a much improved ability to get into the box and the fixtures are very good
Hull (H)
Leicester (A)
Watford (H)
Man City (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Southampton (A)
