A pivotal week for the FFGeek team as I’ve taken a huge risk. Apologies by the way that there hasn’t been time in the shortened week for the bandwagons and Fixture ease article. Just no time

So the transfer was a very low key one Crystal Palace GK McCarthy out and Newcastle GK Rob Elliot in. It at least gives me a GK for GW30. The 2nd was huge. I took Mahrez out for Firmino. So heres the team
The transfers
So the Elliot transfer was a good time to do it home to WBA one of the worst attacking teams and sorted out the GK for the mass blanks of GW30.
The 2nd was Mahrez out for Firmino. The attraction was the next 2 games. Sunderland home and then Aston Villa away. They were just too tempting. Whereas Leicester are away at City and then Arsenal. I took at £0.7m bath on the value and I will have to buy him back. Mahrez’s ownership could really hurt me but it seems a gamble worth taking for 2 games after which I will probably buy Mahrez back. It also leaves me potentially a couple of players short for GW30 but that very much depends on how the results go so again I have to hope that I get some luck there. With the FA Cup replay midweek he could also be a rotation risk so it really is a roll of the dice.
Luckily I cant see the City v Leicester game but Mahrez’s ownership could absolutely kill me if he does well.
The team selection
I just followed the bookies odds for clean sheets and my rankings to get the lineup. There were no conflicts so nice and easy.
Captain
I’ve gone for Aguero with Kane as a vice. A short captain article will follow. Hard to ignore Aguero in current form
