FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE GW26 PLAYER RANKINGS MIDFIELDERS
As you would have seen from the forwards article I’ve changed how I do the stats. Below is the stats broken into 2 parts so it’s easier to read. There’s a key underneath and here’s link to the google spreadsheet if you want to play around with it.
Remember it’s their rank as a transfer target for this week. This can be affected by the next fixture. So a forward who’s next game is away to Chelsea will have their ranking diminished to some degree compared to someone who’s home to Swansea.
Those in green are those teams with fixtures in both blank weeks of GW26 and GW28. The players on orange don’t have a fixture in GW28. I’ve assumed Man City beat Huddersfield in the replay so Man City and Stoke don’t have a fixture. There are no players in the schedule with byes in GW26. Underneath the spreadsheet is more information.
Key:
Pts Per Match: FPL Points per match
Fixt ease 6/3 games: The ease of the next 6 and 3 fixtures (6/3) coming up. The lower the better fixtures. See article
Last 4 retns: Form Check. The times out of the last 4 games that a goal or assist has been returned
Last 4 points: Form check. The points from the last 4 FPL games
Anytime Goal Scorer Odds: The anytime goalscoring odds for the next match from 1 bookie. Its £’s return for £1 invested
Underlying stats rank: I’ve ranked the players based on a blend of key attacking underlying stats
Consistency %: The % of games that a goal or assist have been scored
10+ FPL points. Explosiveness. The % of points the player has got greater or equal to 10 FPl points
Pens: Does he take penalties?
Set Pieces: Does he take part in Direct and Indirect free kicks and corners
Average mins last 4: How gametime secure are they? The average minutes played in the last 4 games
Position: What position do they play?

As I said above I’ve not included Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal and Southampton as they have byes in GW26
I’ve also not included new signings Grosicki, Markovic of Hull and Brady of Burnley due to lack of data

GW28 is FA Cup quarter final week. Games involving teams in the quarters will be postponed leading to a much reduced fixture list. In fact only 4 confirmed at the moment. Man City v Stoke will be postponed if Man City win the FACup 5th round replay vs Huddersfield 28 Feb
