Here’s the team firstly. No transfers this week, saving 2 for GW27
The Transfers
No transfers this week. Next week I’ll use 2 to put Vardy and Mahrez into the team. I got a lot of “feedback” about taking Mahrez out for Firmino last week. I must admit I thought that with Mahrez having not scored in 7 before that it would be a limited one but thanks to Demichelis watching him stroll past to score it did backfire. The easier choice would have been to take out Payet, I’m hoping Payet makes it up to me over the next 2 games with Norwich and Sunderland next.
Walker and Mertesacker after starting 12 and 18 consecutive games respectively have really picked their time to lose their places and it really isn’t helpful at all. Wollscheid and Moreno have also picked their times poorly to have a couple of real stinker matches
The Team Selection

Not much conflict over the team selection this week between my defensive picks and the bookies.

I would have gone for Spurs before Stoke under my defensive picks ranking for GW26 but I went for the bookies choice of Stoke as they’ve had more success than me to date.

I’ll do a captain article tomorrow but for the moment it’s Aguero with Lukaku vice
