The Bandwagons

These are the 5 most transferred in players so far in the gameweek in order

Firmino

Firmino Liverpool £8.2m CAM/F9 mid (21 games 6 goals 6 assists) FPL point 13.0 mins. 6/21 29% consistency % of games that a goal or assist is returned) 52  FPL points in the last 6 games or 3/6 returns of a goal or assist

Playing as a striker with Sturridge injured and Benteke not really in favour.  Good underlying stats.  Just possible dilution of position and returns with Sturridge returning to the bench and Coutinho getting fit.  A blank in GW27 so you need room on your bench but Villa next is the attraction

Aston Villa (A)
– Gameweek 27 –
Man City (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Chelsea (H)
Southampton (A)
Spurs (H)

Huth

Huth Leicester £4.4m CB def  (24 games 3 goals 0 assists) FPL mins per pts 23.7 (Leicester 25 games 8 clean sheets and 27 goals conceded)

2 goals in 1 game as a defender is always going to get you attention.  That with Leicesters improving defensive form and the price is a big attraction.  Looks fairly gametime certain too.  Also have a guaranteed fixture in the mass blank week of GW30.  Pretty much the same price as the rest of the Leicester defence.

Arsenal (A)
Norwich (H)
West Brom (H)
Watford (A)
Newcastle (H)
Crystal Palace (A)

Fonte

Fonte Southampton £5.4m CB def  (25 games 2 goals 0 assists) FPL mins per pts 21.3 (Leicester 25 games 11 clean sheets and 24 goals conceded)

5 consecutive clean sheets is always going to attract attention. How much is down to overall defensive strength and how much is down to the sole heroics of GK Fraser Forster is another thing.  The conundrum with Southampton  is that the defence with gametime certainty isn’t particularly cheap and those who are cheap in Yoshida and Targett aren’t gametime certain.

Bournemouth (A)
Sunderland (H)
Stoke (A)
Liverpool (H)

Alli

Alli Spurs £5.9m CAM mid (22 games 7 goals 8 assists) FPL point 14.7 mins. 11/22 50% consistency.  last 6 games  39 FPL points 4/6 returns.

It only took 30 minutes for the young Spurs CAM to get an assist in the win over Watford.  He was sidelined after having some dizziness problems in the previous game.  He has been a revelation this season and is great value for a now title challenging side.   For the price the returns and consistency are nothing short of sensational

Man City (A)
Swansea (H)
West Ham (A)
Arsenal (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Bournemouth (H)

Mahrez

Mahrez Leicester £7.1m RAM mid ( 24 games 14 goals 10 assists) FPL point 10.7 mins. 15/24  63% consistency.  last 6 games  31 FPL points 3/6 returns

After 7 games without scoring a goal  he returned to form with 14 FPL points and a goal and assist courtesy of Demichelis waving him past to score.  Incredible returns and consistency to match his team this season.

Arsenal (A)
Norwich (H)
West Brom (H)
Watford (A)
Newcastle (H)
Crystal Palace (A)

The Sinking Ships

These are the 5 most transferred out players in order.

Sagna

Sagna Man City £5.8m RB def  (24 games 3 goals 0 assists) FPL mins per pts 23.7 (Leicester 25 games 8 clean sheets and 27 goals conceded)

After playing 13 consecutive games he’s had 2 rotations in the last 4 after Zabaleta has returned to the frame. It’s still 3 clean sheets in the last 5 though,  although the defensive disaster against Leicester can’t have helped frustration in tholding he pricey defence.  Unfortunately the rather expensive Otamendi at £6.5m is the only secure gametime defender.   No game in GW27 isn’t helpful.

Spurs (H)
– Gameweek 27 –
Liverpool (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Norwich (A)
Man Utd (H)

Ighalo

Ighalo Watford £6.3m fwd (25 games 15 goals 6 assists) FPL point 14.3 mins. 14/25  56% consistency last 6 games 22 FPL points 1/6 returns

Only 1 return in the last 6 games.  Although to be fair those games have included Man City, Southampton, Chelsea and Spurs.  Unfortunately there’s also been quite a drop off of underlying stats too.  Will it turn around?

Crystal Palace (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Man Utd (A)
Leicester (H)
West Ham (A)
Stoke (H)

Yaya Toure

YYT Man City £8.6m CM mid (24 games 6 goals 4 assists) FPL point 17.0 mins. 9/24  38% consistency last 6 games 18 FPL points 1/6 returns

Really gone off the boil recently and with Pep joining next season  he’s bound to be on his way out.  Playing in a deep position although sometimes a CAM he has precious little in the way of underlying stats to make you think it’s temporary.  Has a blank in GW27 and no scheduled DGW yet.

Spurs (H)
– Gameweek 27 –
Liverpool (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Norwich (A)
Man Utd (H)

Wijnaldum

Wijnaldum Newcastle £7.1m CAM mid (25 games 9 goals 4 assists) FPL point 18.1 mins. 8/25  32% consistency.   last 6 games 30 FPL points 2/6 returns

Returns only even at an ordinary level through a 4 goal performance against Norwich and very poor consistency aren’t much of a recommendation.  However a CAM position and some better recent underlying stats are the reason for hope.  No game in GW27 although a guaranteed fixture in the upcoming mass blank week of GW30.

Chelsea (A)

Stoke (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Leicester (A)
Sunderland (H)

Arnautovic

Stoke £6.5m LAM (23 games 7 goals 4 assists) FPL point 17.4 mins. 9/23  39% consistency.   last 6 games 25 FPL points 2/6 returns

Not been in great form recently but whether I would sell with the next 4 fixtures and a guaranteed GW30 is another thing

Aston Villa (H)
Newcastle (H)
