The Bandwagons

These are the 5 most transferred in players so far in the gameweek in order

Vardy

Vardy Leicester £7.5m fwd (26 games 19 goals 5 assists) FPL point 13.9 mins. 20/26 77% consistency % of games that a goal or assist is returned) 35 FPL points in the last 6 games or 4/6 returns of a goal or assist.  Has pens

With Mahrez the surprise of the season.  Ticks all the boxes that you would want including underlying stats which are good if not exceptional to show this season isn’t based on sand.  Leicester have a guaranteed game in GW27 and GW30.  Vardy is a good captain prospect for GW27 game home to Norwich

Norwich (H)
West Brom (H)
Watford (A)
Newcastle (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Southampton (H)

Fonte

Fonte Southampton £5.5m CB def (26 games 2 goals 0 assists) FPL mins per pts 20.7 (Southampton 26 games 12 clean sheets and 24 goals conceded)

6 consecutive clean sheets is truly incredible. As I said last week how much is down to overall defensive strength and how much is down to the sole heroics of GK Fraser Forster is another thing. Targett coming back into the side at £3.9m is the distraction although he will rely on the contiunuation of 3-5-2 which to be fair has been very successful.  A guaranteed game in GW27 and GW30.

Chelsea (H)
Bournemouth (A)
Sunderland (H)
Stoke (A)
Liverpool (H)
Leicester (A)

Payet

Payet West Ham £8.2m CAM/LAM mid (18 games 7 goals 6 assists) FPL point 14.7 mins. 10/18 56% consistency. last 6 games 33 FPL points 2/6 returns.  Has set piece responsibility

A 13 point FPL  haul and Sunderland next is going to get you attention even if the goal was the result of another lucky bounce or good follow up and positioning depending on your view.  There’s no doubting his quality or his importance in the West Ham attack.  The negative is the lack of shooting stats and whether he can keep up his goal tally.  He does however have creating chances stats only bettered by KDB and Ozil.  No guaranteed a game in GW30

Sunderland (H)
Spurs (H)
Everton (A)
Watford (H)
Chelsea (A)
Crystal Palace (H)

Willian

Willian Chelsea £7.0m AM mid ( 25 games 4 goals 8 assists) FPL point 18.4 mins. 9/25 36% consistency. last 6 games 28 FPL points 2/6 returns.  Has some set piece responsibility

Willian has been one of the few players to be praised in both the Mourinho and Hiddink part of the season.  Stats in themselves don’t look that good and even recent form is a little patchy.  His underlying stats are ok at best but what you’re looking at is a player with good set piece responsibility in an improving team.  Not guaranteed a fixture in GW30

Southampton (A)
Norwich (A)
Stoke (H)
Liverpool (A)
West Ham (H)
Aston Villa (A)

Huth

Huth Leicester £4.6m CB def (25 games 3 goals 0 assists) FPL mins per pts 24.5 (Leicester 26 games 8 clean sheets and 29 goals conceded)

His recent 2 goal exploits against Man City have made him the favoured Leicester defender.  Seems to have nailed that spot next to Wes Morgan in the centre of defence.  A game in GW27 and also a guaranteed fixture in the potential mass blank week of GW30. Pretty much the same price as the rest of the Leicester defence.

Norwich (H)
West Brom (H)
Watford (A)
Newcastle (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Southampton (H)

The Sinking Ships

These are the 5 most transferred out players in order.

Sagna

Sagna Man City £5.7m RB def (22 games 0 goals 3 assists) FPL mins per pts 20.0 (Man City 26 games 11 clean sheets and 28 goals conceded)

Man City have no game in GW27, Sagna has not played 3 games in the last 5 partly due to rotation and an injury although he’s expected to be back for GW28.  Add to that some high profile defensive disasters for Man City and it’s a recipe for sales that’s for sure.  On the plus side the return of Kompany should solve alot of defensive problems

Gameweek 27 –
Liverpool (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Norwich (A)
Man Utd (H)
Bournemouth (A)

Lukaku

Lukaku Everton £8.9m  fwd (26 games 16 goals 5 assists) FPL point 14.6 mins. 14/26   54% consistency last 6 games 18 FPL points 1/6 returns.  Has pens

Again over the season the stats look ok but the returns have really dropped off with just a penalty in the last 6 games being the only return.  Add in no game in GW27 and no guarantee of a fixture in GW30 and you’ve got a good recipe for sales.  Interesting though the underlying stats in the last 6 are consistent with the season stats which gives hope of an improvement

Gameweek 27 –
Aston Villa (A)
West Ham (H)
Sunderland (A)
Arsenal (H)
Man Utd (A)

Barkley

Barkley Everton £7.4m CAM mid (26 games 8 goals 8 assists) FPL point 16.8 mins. 9/26 35% consistency. last 6 games 28 FPL points 1/6 returns

Barkley may be one of the few players who gets to the double double of 10+ goals and assists this season and the stats look good until you see the quite shocking consistency stats and the fact that in the last 6 games only the 2 pens against Newcastle when Lukaku was off the pitch have been returns.  There’s also no game in GW27 and no guaranteed game in GW30. Add in some pretty ordinary underlying stats and you’ve got a good recipe for sales

Gameweek 27 –
Aston Villa (A)
West Ham (H)
Sunderland (A)
Arsenal (H)
Man Utd (A)

Aguero

Aguero £13.6m fwd (19 games 14 goals 2 assists) FPL point 13.1 mins. 9/19   47% consistency. last 6 games 43 FPL points 4/6 returns.  Has pens

Great recent form has put aside some inconsistent performances this season.  Has the best underlying stats of any forward.  However no game in GW27 and no guarantee of a game in GW30

Gameweek 27 –
Liverpool (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Norwich (A)
Man Utd (H)
Bournemouth (A)

Ighalo

Ighalo Watford £6.2m fwd (26 games 15 goals 6 assists) FPL point 14.7 mins. 14/26 54% consistency last 6 games 22 FPL points 1/6 returns

The stats over the season look good.  However recent form is poor and the underlying stats have fallen off a cliff as well.  No guaranteed game in GW30.  Good fixture next though

Bournemouth (H)
Man Utd (A)
Leicester (H)
West Ham (A)
Stoke (H)
Arsenal (A
