Here’s 4 transfer suggestions in fantasy premier league GW28 for you to consider. There’s some stats and narrative on rationale.
FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE GW278– 4 TRANSFERS TO CONSIDER
Firstly I’d like to say that these transfer suggestions are meant to give you a change that will increase your probability of better points. However there can never be a guarantee of points improvement. So please consider the options and the rationale but ultimately make up your own mind and accept responsibility for your decision.
Remember detailed stats on all players are in the player rankings articles:
BENTEKE OUT LLORENTE IN
Benteke has no fixture in the blank GW28.
1 goal in his last 12 games says it all for Benteke. With Big Sam prioritising the defences as a way to stay up then improvement doesn’t look easy. Whats more his consistency and fixtures apart from the next game against Watford look tricky. The arguments against would be that his underlying stats are quite good and that he may still have pens.
Llorente at the moment ticks alot of boxes. He’s got good fixtures and form. Under Clement his minutes and gametime look secure
Here’s the Squawka underlying stats comparison for the season which is fairly even apart from Llorente’s shot accuracy
Swansea next 5 fixtures:
Hull (A)
Bournemouth (A)
Middlesbrough (H)
Spurs (H)
West Ham (A)
C Palaces next 5 fixtures
Blank GW28
Watford (H)
Chelsea (A)
Southampton (A)
Arsenal (H)
PHILLIPS OUT KING IN
Phillips is out of the GW28 game with an injury and hasn’t returned a goal or assist now for 5 games. Whats more the upcoming fixtures for WBA couldn’t be much worse.
King is currently playing striker for Bournemouth and has penalty duties as well. He’s also in great form and has a fixture in GW28 against one of the more dodgy defences in the premier league.
Here’s the squawka comparison for underlying stats over the season. This massively favours Josh King
Bournemouth next 5 fixtures:
West Ham (H)
Swansea (H)
Southampton (A)
Liverpool (A)
Chelsea (H)
WBA next 5 fixtures
Everton (A)
Arsenal (H)
Man Utd (A)
Watford (A)
Southampton (H)
DE BRUYNE OUT MANE IN
Mane apart from having a fixture in GW28 beats De Bruyne on virtually all the stats. His Points per match, underlying stats, consistency and explosiveness are all better than De Bruyne. Recent form wise this is also compelling with De Bruyne not having returned a goal or assist in his last 4 games
Here’s the squawka comparison which favours Mane especially in the shot accuracy area which is due to the difference in shot quality as De Bruyne shoots alot from outside the area
Liverpool next 5:
Burnley (H)
Man City (A)
Everton (H)
Bournemouth (H)
Stoke (A)
Man City’s next 5:
Blank GW28
Liverpool (H)
Arsenal (A)
Chelsea (A)
Hull (H)
IBRAHIMOVIC OUT LUKAKU IN
This is the most obvious transfer and 1 not requiring any stats comparison
Ibrahimovic is suspended for 2 PL games and doesn’t have a game in GW28. Lukaku is the captain favourite for this round and in fantastic form. A difficult player not to own for GW28
No squawka comparison as this is not needed. This is a transfer down to Ibra’s lack of GW28 game and suspension
Everton next 5 fixtures
West Brom (H)
Hull (H)
Liverpool (A)
Man Utd (A)
Leicester (H)
Man Utd next 5 fixtures:
Blank GW28
Middlesbrough (A)
West Brom (H)
Everton (H)
Sunderland (A)
