Here’s our fantasy premier league GW33 transfers article where we outline the FFGeek team. As usual we look at last week, the transfer dilemmas, the team selection and the captain decision. There’s also a double gameweek watch.
Fantasy premier league GW33 transfers – the FFGeek team
Last gameweek
An ok gameweek with a very small green arrow
72 points against an average of 56 with a 4k green arrow arrow to a 73k overall rank.
Transfers
In the end I used the 2 free transfers I had with:
Sanchez out – Zaha in
Carroll out – Kane in
I mulled about it all week as to whether I was going to do these transfers. Words from Bilic saying Carroll might share gametime with Calleri and Carrolls no show last week didn’t exactly put the brakes on the transfer that’s for sure.
In the end I decided that Kane could do more rank damage than Sanchez and Sanchez was easy to get back in for a wildcard in DGW36 if required.
The alternative transfer was also an issue. Everyone had relatively good fixtures and I may have just put in Valdes for Foster. So as an alternative transfer that seemed a little surreal. I could have got rid of Brunt but there was a good chance that the replacement would end up on the bench.
Team selection
Here’s the team:
So like the man who never learnt his lesson King is on the bench again. It was a decision between King, Valencia, Alonso and Holebas. 1 had to go on the bench. Last time I was bailed out by no shows from Valencia and Carroll. With Carroll gone and Man Utd playing Chelsea it’s hard to see it happening again. However King on the bench seemed the best pick.
As an aside I’ve had virtually nothing from the WBA pair except the last time I benched them both! It would be very annoying if it happened again but I just can’t see it.
DGW watch
Here’s our double gameweek article for a bit of back reading.
DGW34 – Valencia, Zaha, Ibrahimovic. Possibly still wanted Van Aanholt and Valdes. Would still be able to get one of those.
DGW36 and DGW37 – Not relevant for me as I will wildcard in GW36 and bench boost in DGW37
Captain pick
I’ll do a captain article tomorrow but for the moment it’s Kane
If I make any changes to the selection or captain I will at least tweet them
