The Bandwagons

These are the 5 most transferred in players so far in the gameweek in order

Giroud

No surprises here with the £8.6m Arsenal forward being the most transferred in player so far as FPL managers start to bring Arsenal players in for their double gameweek 37.  Giroud is the most consistent returner of the Arsenal attacking players and also the player in the best form with 3 goals in his last 4 games.  Nothing wrong with his underlying shooting and creating chances stats either which also show that his form and consistency is no fluke.  Good fixtures to come and GW35 is away to Hull.

Remaining gameweek fixtures to end of the season:

Hull (A)
Swansea (H)
DGW37 Man Utd (A)
DGW37 Sunderland (H)
West Brom (H)

Benteke

The £7.6m Aston Villa forward is top of the FPL form chart and has 5 goals in his last 4 games.  His consistency over the season is poor  at only 8/25 games or 32% however there has been a complete turnaround since Tim Sherwood became manager.  Underlying stats over the season have been pretty good.  Fixtures are also good at 3rd on the best attacking fixtures table with 3 home games in the last 4 and full motivation with relegation to avoid.

Everton (H)
West Ham (H)
Southampton (A)
Burnley (H)

Pelle

The £7.4m Southampton forward has 3 goals in his last 4.  That does mask a 10 game blank spell which saw no goal and no assist over that period.  The fixtures are a little mixed with 3 away games but his underlying shooting stats are pretty good which gives hope.

Sunderland (A)
Leicester (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Man City (A)

Sanchez

The £11.2m Arsenal midfielder is the other obvious Arsenal purchase for the double gameweek.  While the fixtures including the double gameweek 37 are very good his recent form of 1 goal and 1 assist plus his 45% consistency rate isn’t really what you would be looking for the price.  However he has the best underlying shooting and creating chances stats for any midfielder which gives hope that the early season form could return.  Arsenal still have alot to play for with a Champions League automatic place still up for grabs but if this changes I imagine Sanchez will be the first to be rested

Hull (A)
Swansea (H)
DGW37 Man Utd (A)
DGW37 Sunderland (H)
West Brom (H)

Aguero

The £12.6 Man City forward was presumably shipped out for some double gameweek option although with Villa at home in GW34 and injuries to Chelsea and Liverpool forwards it’s hard to imagine who for.  Perhaps it was those who thought class was tempororary and form permanent who’ve suddenly realised that he really is the quality striker of the premier league.  Has benefitted recently as the lone striker rather as opposed to being part of a pair with 4 goals in his last 3 games.  Will that continue with Bony fit?  Who knows?  Pellegrini does like 4-4-2 and there does seem to be a correlation between that formation and Aguero not scoring. Mixed fixtures

Spurs (A)
QPR (H)
Swansea (A)
Southampton (H)

The Sinking Ships

These are the 5 most transferred out players so far in the gameweek in order

Rooney

A knee injury for £10.9m forward (although far too much time in midfield for that price) where LVG hasn’t really given much comfort that it’s nothing serious has seen a large amount of sales.  Hasn’t been helped by 2 blanks and 2 very quiet games after he looked fantastic previously as the lone forward.  Has been shifted back into midfield when Falcao has come on as sub as well which also can’t have helped. Mixed fixtures.

West Brom (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Arsenal (H)
Hull (A)

Murray

The £5.3m Palace forward has seen 2 blanks after 3 goals and 4 assists in 3 games.  The 2 blanks were against opposition that were expected to concede goals as well.  Thats definitely going to see sales especially as he is the only blank spot for many FPL managers if you think that Aguero and Kane are pretty nailed on in many FPL teams.  Fixtures couldn’t be much harder

Chelsea (A)
Man Utd (H)
Liverpool (A)
Swansea (H)

Austin

A missed pen and 2 blanks are going to result in one thing, transfers out.  Like Murray he’s the natural sale to bring in Giroud next to Kane and Aguero.  Next 2 fixtures couldn’t be more difficult.

Liverpool (A)
Man City (A)
Newcastle (H)
Leicester (A)

Silva

2 blanks and 1 assist in his last 4 is hardly a form recommendation for the £9.6m Man City midfielder.  Not helped by many who held him in their FPL team for DGW34 for the home game to Villa and saw a 1 point return.  However his consistency over the season has been 13 return games out of 27 or 48% which isn’t too bad but could be better.  Mixed fixtures and the question for many is will he be worth keeping as well as Aguero.  Selling before QPR at home will be a difficult question for many

Spurs (A)
QPR (H)
Swansea (A)
Southampton (H)

Eriksen

If you were like me you were glad to see the back of him after 1 goal and 2 assists in 11 games despite some good fixtures within that.  Does have good set piece representation and does get forward but just hasn’t performed recently and has a very poor consistency return rate.  No underlying stats either.  Mixed fixtures with Man City next

Man City (H)
Stoke (A)
Hull (H)
Everton (A)
