Rotation issues

GW38 is going to be tricky due to the fact that the only things still up for grabs is the Champions League spots.  Man City have secured at least 4th barring a reasonably big swing of goal difference with Arsenal.  I’m sure they will want to finish 3rd.  Liverpool need to beat Middlesborough at home to secure their spot.  Arsenal need to win and realistically hope Liverpool slip up.

Chelsea are playing in the FA Cup final a week later.  Who knows what team he will play in GW38.  The press conference, which I imagine will be on Friday, will be the only clue.

Man Utd are playing in the Europa League final mid week.  He will play Bailly as he’s suspended for the EL final.  He’s already confirmed that Romero will play in goal for the EL final so De Gea will play the final fixture.  It’s a tricky fixture though with the rest of the team likely to be a reserve team apart from those 2.

Transfer suggestions

Of the 3 teams with something to play for Arsenal have a tricky defensive fixture home to Everton and are a risky transfer in.  City are impossible to predict at full back.  Kompany did have some fitness issues in the midweek game and Stones is fit.  I’d be surprised if Otamendi at least doesn’t play.  However the GK Caballero is the only player who is guaranteed to start in my mind.

Liverpool are more certain in playing staff and they play arguably the worst attacking side in the division.

To me the best transfer in is a Liverpool defender.  Either Lovren for £4.8m or Clyne at £5.8m depending on funds.

A few other notes

Everton – I’ve taken off Holgate after he was subbed at half time in GW37.  In any case away to Arsenal is not a transfer to do.

Arsenal –  Holding hopefully should hold his place although Koscielny’s potential return is the unknown.  If you have the cash Monreal or Mustafi are the safer options.

Southampton – Who knows what team Puel-Pep will play apart from the GK

Spurs – With Rose out for the season Davies will have to play.  What defence he has around him is the question.  Wimmer could easily get a run.  Again the press conference may help

Leicester – I would be surprised if Morgan even if fit is risked in the last game which means cheapie Benoularne could start.  Interestingly www.sportsbettingtips.co.uk think it will be a high scoring affair

Swansea – now safe could rotate against WBA
