Ok so here’s the introduction for our fantasy premier league GW38 review article. If you haven’t seen this before, this article includes the scores of the top 10 FPL managers as well as the team selection points. These are just not the current top 10 but 10 managers who’ve been successful over the last 3 years. The 10 managers have never finished outside the top 10k in the last 3 years (30 times playing FPL). The article is all about giving you another view point other than mine. Also the managers I have picked have been consistent showing they can adapt to different seasons.

The average score of the managers in GW38 was 52 compared to the average of 39. That’s 13 points and 33% above the average. The high score of the 10 was 82. The low score was 31 . A incredibly wide spread of 51. 5 of the 10 had green arrows. It’s worth remembering there was an average of just over 4 points of hits taken.
The average overall rank of the top 10 FPL managers took a good step forwards to 20k from 22k in the last gameweek. An improvement in rank of 2k. The best rank is 1.4k and the lowest 62k. 5 out of the 10 managers finished within the top 10k
