I hope this isn’t too confusing coming straight after the imaginary wildcard. Here’s a fantasy premier league team solely picked for GW12, No other fixtures taken into account, just gameweek 12.

Its also purely theoretical and costs too much to be a real team. The reasoning? Just to help you pick a player if you’re a little unsure who to pick. The chance of immediate points with someone from this team may sway you. Please excuse the fact that I’m only doing the briefest of comments. Some of the players are covered in previous articles this week in my fantasy premier league “ones to watch” articles and defenders in my clean sheet article. By the way I wont pick 2 strikers or 2 midfielders or 2 defenders from the same club. Ill also pick the defender with the best chance of the bonus or attacking points irrespective of the price. So don’t be confused about me selecting someone different from the “ones to watch” articles as that takes a longer term and more value view than this. - De Gea

- I’ve picked Utd for a clean sheet in my analysis article and De Gea is at least certain to play.
- Szczesny
- £5.5
- Didn’t pick Arsenal for a clean sheet. However of those I didn’t predict, Arsenal were the next best choice. Due to this, I’ve given them the default position of additional GK .
- Williams
- £4.8
- Another clean sheet prediction. I like Williams for his bonus potential. The FB’s, Davies and Rangel, have more attacking potential but at an additional cost.
- Davies
- £4.6
- The top clean sheet prediction from William Hill. Davies has the best bonus potential
- Coloccini
- £4.9
- Sound like a broken record but its the same theory here for Coloccini re Bonus potential
- Huth
- £5.4
- Huth is about attacking potential. Especially against a Sunderland side which has had problems with set pieces.
- Zabaleta £6.1m
- With Nastasic having some injury issues, Demichelis and Zabaleta become the obvious choices for gametime certainty. I marginally went for Zabaelta for attacking potential and bonus awards.
- Hazard
- £9.2
- Tricky one this given that he is such a homer. In a rich vein of form which I’m banking on being carried over to places other than Stamford Bridge. Note I’ve started not too far away in East London
- Januzaj
- £4.8
- I expect goals in this game. I think the youngster should start and could feature in any of these goals.
- Ramsey
- £6.9
- How can you not have him at the moment? In great form.
- Sessegnon
- £6.6
- Some good form himself lately and could prosper up against a Villa defence in a highly charged derby.
- Nasri
- £8.1
- Taking on Silvas mantel of creator for the team. Has the talent although up against the number 1 defence in the league in my mind
- Rooney
- £11.0
- My number one captain option and in outstanding form at the moment. Sure to feature in what will be goals against Cardiff.
- Remy
- £7.8
- I went for Remy over Aguero due to the opposition of Norwich who have struggled away from home.
- Suárez
- £11.8
- With Aguero the man in form at the moment. Everton have shown some vulnerability at home, most notably when Chelsea did everything but score. I expect Suarez to have some good chances
