Here’s the final part of the fantasy premier league analysis of Sundays matches for game week 16
Everton 2 Spurs 1
2 goals at the death give Everton all 3 points after Dempsey put them ahead and looked like Spurs were undeservedly heading for all 3 plus the clean sheet.
defensive stats
The defensive stats were all with Everton. Spurs stats were poor and they were very lucky to have held on for as long as they did
player shooting stats
Osman led the stats followed by Fellaini, Pienaar Vertonghen and Jelavic.
Pen Box touches were Jelavic, Adebayor followed by Osman and Fellaini.
Chances created
Baines and Pienaar followed by Gibson and Walker
Most forward midfielders
Pienaar and Dempsey
performances by players owned by more than 10% of fantasy premier league teams
Baines no returns but good chances created stats. Defensive stats very good but again no CS. Too expensive for the lack of CSs for me.
Fellaini reasonable shooting stats but no returns
Walker – reasonable attacking stats but the defensive stats were awful. Caulker offers the best value at the moment.
Defoe – Up front with Adebayor. incredibly poor stats all round. Good fixtures follow though so no need to panic sell in my view
West Ham 2 Liverpool 3
Everyone thought they would never be able to score without Suarez let alone come back from 1 down against one of te more difficult defences.
defensive stats
Reasonable defence all round despite the score although Liverpool were the better
player shooting stats
Matt Taylor followed by Sterling
Pen Box touches Carlton Cole Nolan Sterling and Johnson
Chances created
Allen and Downing
Most forward midfielders
Jarvis and Sterling
performances by players owned by more than 10% of fantasy premier league teams
Jaas and Reid – the defence performed ok but no attacking stats for Reid.
Nolan – quiet game. Shouldn’t be taken too seriously against one of the best defences
Sterling – good stats and an assist. Getting to the top of his value curve compared to say Puncheon and HRK but still good with the upcoming fixtures.
