A goal from Collison assisted by Vaz Te won this battle of the more direct teams shall we say

Defensive stats:   Great stats from West Ham.  Disappointing from Stoke in a continuation of ordinary stats.  Its Wilson only for me at the moment.

Player shooting stats:   Carrol had the best stats, just couldn’t get anything on target.  Walters did nothing by the way.

Pen box touches:   Crouch by some distance.  Followed by Carroll and Jarvis

Chances created:  Only Vaz Te registered.

Most advanced midfielders:   Kightly and Jarvis although Jarvis was on the flank

Most involved players in attacking positions:  Crouch for Stoke Carroll for West Ham

Sunderland 2 Fulham 2

Gardner pen and Sess scored for Sunderland with assists from Johnson and Graham.  Reither and Berba pen scored for Fulham with 2 assists from De Jagh.

Defensive stats:    OKish stats from Sunderland not so great from Fulham

Player shooting stats:   Berba led the stats followed by Fletcher.

Pen box touches:   Graham Berba and Fletcher

Chances created:   Johnson followed by Ruiz and Gardner

Most advanced midfielders:  Johnson on the flank but Sess more centrally.  Duff for Fulham.

Most involved players in attacking positions:  Johnson for Sunderland and Duff for Fulham

Moore with an assist from Routledge

Defensive stats:    Neither had great defensive stats but fairly even.

Player shooting stats:    No one showed up really.  Sissoko had lots of shots but practically all from out of the box.  Michu did very little

Pen box touches:   Gouffran Cisse and Debuchy

Chances created:    Cabaye followed by De Guzman and Pablo

Most advanced midfielders:    Routldge and Sissoko

Most involved players for each team in attacking positions:   Sissoko and Debuchy

Everton 3 Reading 1

A goal and an assist each from Fellaini and Pienaar rounded off by goals from Mirralas and a Coleman assist.  HRK got the goal for Reading assisted by Harte.

Defensive stats:    Everton had very good defensive sats.  Readings were appalling

Player shooting stats:   Mirallas followed by Jelavic then Fellaini and HRK

Pen box touches:    Jelavic Mirralas Fellaini Pienaar HRK and Pearce

Chances created:     Pienaar followed by Coleman and Mirallas

Most advanced midfielders:     Mirallas by a mile.  Pienaar’s was higher than Fellaini.  Kebe for Reading although his was on the flank

Most involved players in attacking positions:  Coleman interestingly and McAnuff.
