Spurs won with goals from Bale and Lennon assisted by Parker and Siggy.  Arsenal clawed one back through Mertesacker assisted by Walcott although I don’t know if there’s going to be some sort of review for a Bale OG on this one which would not be fun for a lot of fantasy premier league managers.  The game was played at a frantic pace which both teams pressing relatively high up the pitch.  This was Arsenals undoing twice as Spurs broke the offside trap twice to score.  Spurs won the possession 54% to 46% with shots being relatively equal.

Defensive stats:  The defensive stats were fairly similar but Spurs carved out a few good chances which ultimately won them the game.  Arsenal didn’t quite provide the final ball.

Player shooting stats:  Bale had the best stats followed by Giroud.  Walcott only had 1 shot in the box and Cazorla had none.

Pen box touches:  Giroud by miles.  Then Walcott some distance away

Chances created:  Only Parker registered

Player involvement in attacking areas for both teams.  Cazorla and Bale

Most forward midfielders for both teams:  Bale and Walcott were the furtherest forward for both teams and both central
