Here’s the fantasy premier league match analysis for gameweek 35 – Saturday selected games
Newcastle 0 Liverpool 6
Goals from Henderson Sturridge 2 Borini 2 and Agger. Assists from Downing 2 Coutinho 2 Henderson and Sturridge
Defensive stats: Liverpools defensive stats were good. Newcastles stats weren’t that bad but they were punished with excellent finishing and gave away some very good chances
Player shooting stats: Sturridge had the best stats followed by Cisse
Pen box touches: Sturridge by far. Followed by Cisse then Sissoko and Downing
Chances created: Downing
Most advanced midfielders for each team: Coutinho and Sissoko
Most involved players in attacking positions for each team: Sissoko and Cabaye. No clear person for Liverpool
Comments on important fantasy premier league players:
A great start for Sturridge who would become an option apart from the DGW. Coutinho looked good but in stats output there was very little. Downing created loads of chances and got his rewards.
Wigan 2 Spurs 2
Goals from Boyce and McManaman plus assists from McCarthy and Maloney. Spurs goals from Bale and an OG. An assist from Huddlestone
Defensive stats: Great stats from Spurs who didnt deserve to concede in my view. Not too bad from Wigan considering the opposition
Player shooting stats: Bale and Kone were the only ones to step up.
Pen box touches: Bale Dempsey Kone and Defoe
Chances created: Huddlestone
Most advanced midfielders: Maloney and Dempsey
Most involved players in attacking positions for each team: Maloney. Dempsey and Bale
Comments on important fantasy premier league players:
All DGWers on show here. Bale is a must obviously. Kone and Maloney are the Wigan options. Kone did well Maloney was much quieter.
For Spurs, Defoe has got a bandwagon on but wasn’t effective. Will be interesting to see if this was enough to get Adebayor back. Dempsey had promise in pen box touches average position but didn’t quite get the shots where they needed to be.
Southampton 0 WBA 3
Lukaku Fortune and Long scored. Lukaku with 2 assists and Long
Defensive stats: Saints stats were not great but not as bad as the score. WBAs were good
Player shooting stats: Lukaku followed by Rodriguez and Fortune then Clyne
Pen box touches: lambert Lukaku Rodriguez Lallana and Mayuka
Chances created: Steven Davis and Lambert
Most advanced midfielders for each team: Lallana and Dorrans
Most involved players in attacking positions for each team: Davis and Ridgewell
Comments on important fantasy premier league players:
Lukaku is the big WBA DGWer and performed well. Lambert continues to produce little stats although Rodriguez does produce. Dorrans is probably the best midfield option if youre desperate.
