Hazard
Rafa Benitez claimed Chelsea will appeal if the FA’s independent regulatory commission increases Eden Hazard’s suspension for kicking a Swansea ball boy.
To be honest the longer the better for Mata owners as it gives less chance of rotation in the short term at least. Mata changed the game when he came on at Brentford and its doubtful without Hazard and Mata in the team how well they can open up defensive teams which will force Benitez to play Mata
Kompany
Manchester City fear they will be without captain Vincent Kompany for three weeks after the Belgian had a recurrence of a calf injury in Saturday’s win at Stoke City.
That could mean he will be out until game week 27. Good news for Nastastic owners who’s great value at £5.6m
Defoe
Jermain Defoe may need to undergo surgery for a pelvic injury that he has been nursing for some time. The move would leave Andre Villas-Boas without a senior
striker.
Adebayor who’s capable of a lone front man role could fill that hole. However he may not be back from ACON until game week 27 which opens the way for Dempsey to play up front. A long injury to Defoe would also put Dempsey in the frame as a support striker for Adebayor which would certainly keep him on our fantasy premier league radar. He’s currently £9.0m in barclays fantasy premier league and as a support striker that may even make him more attractive than Bale for our fantasy premier league teams
Coutinho
Inter Milan midfielder Philippe Coutinho appears to be on the verge of joining Liverpool after the two clubs reportedly agreed an £8.5million deal for the Brazilian.
Increasingly looking like the 20 year old attacking midfielder will move. Could put Sterlings place under more threat with Downing and Borini also making him a rotation target. For me its time to sell although Coutinho will be introduced slowly I imagine.
Anton Ferdinand
QPR defender Anton Ferdinand is in talks with Turkish side Bursaspor over a potential loan move. Ferdinand has found himself on the periphery of the first team at Loftus Road.
Hardly surprising after an appalling performance against MKDons at the weekend. Somehow with Nelsen looking to leave maybe after the City game Hill looks like only CB. Maybe Onouha could play CB with Fabio RB and Traore LB but look for Harry to get someone in before the window closes. Hill is certain though at £4.3m which looks a bit expensive. Go for Fabio at £4.2m as a home rotation option only
