Heres the fantasy premier league news update for today including price changes in fantasy premier league, Owen, Aguero, Sterling, Joe Cole, and Harry Kane

Fantasy premier league price movements

I may as well start with the news everyone wants to know about.

no further rises on the Michu Hazard Tevez front and the next tier of RVP Fellaini Dyer.  Carl Jenkinson has moved up to £4.8m despite  Sagna coming back in October although the juicy home fixture to Saints is probaly helping.  He’s 13.1% owned and 158k transfers in.  No movement down on Petric

no changes on the falling prices.  Phew!

Aguero

There was a story in the daily mail hinting that Aguero would be travelling to Argentina but Aguero has confirmed through his twitter account that he wont be travelling for all those  wild card users or sun dream teamers who are thinking of putting him in.  Still on track apparently for Sept 15 but needs monitoring.  We will update you here as news comes in

Owen to Stoke

Stokes fixtures are still pretty dire at the moment (City H Chelsea A are the next 2) and Ive stayed clear.  However Jonathan Walters has emerged as an option due to the fact he’s been played up front yet classified as a midfelder in fantasy premier league.  Im not convinced that Michael Owen is there to do anything other than lighten the load (although that has lightened anyway through their shock capital one cup exit)  but once fit the risk anyone if he does play is to Walters moving back in to midfield.   People using their Wild card should be a little wary if the fixtures themselves arent enough to put them off.  No price yet for Owen in fantasy premier league

Sterling

For those fantasy premier league managers thinking of him as a cheap option should be wary of Rodgers we need to “nurture ” him words.  Thats even if they can put out of their mind that fitness wise new signing Assaidi is getting closer and likely to be a straight fill in for Sterling.  Personally Guthrie still remains the best option by far for this position.

Joe Cole

Heres Rodgers words on Joe Cole from the Daily Mail

‘Joe is working well and the medical department are pleased with his progress,’ Rodgers told the club’s website.
‘He was out onto the pitch over the weekend doing some work, so there’s still a little way to go with Joe yet but he’s on the right track, which is important.’

In 4-3-3 the left had flank spot looks a battle ground between Cole Sterling and Assaidi.  Cole at £5.7m in fantasy premier league isnt an option but its a different story in telegraph fantasy football where hes £2.9m the same price as Seamus Coleman. although interesting Sterling is £2.6m and Assaidi £3.0m.  No one is certain enough to take the plunge yet but worth monitoring if fixtures and game time certainty for one of them improve.  This assumes Liverpool can score obviously!

Harry Kane

Spurs loanee forward has gone to Norwich.  Hes £4.5m in fantasy premier league so lets monitor his game time if people are thinking of putting more funds in to midfield.  Pogrebnyak is still probably l the best option for this at £4.9m

Thats it catch up in a day or
