Fantasy Premier League player review – The Saturday GW12 “blankers”

Fantasy Premier League, Gameweek analysis

Here’s a new article I’ll trial called Fantasy premier league GW12 blankers.  Worried about a player in your team who didn’t score or assist?  Here’s a few brief notes on the performance of a number of attacking fantasy premier league players who will be in your team but didn’t score or assist.  Obviously it’s only Saturdays games.  It may help you on a decision whether to hold or not although remember it’s only 1 game.  Also remember it’s International break for 2 weeks with GW13 starting 21st November.

Fantasy Premier League player review – The Saturday GW12 “blankers”

Ritchie Bournemouth v Newcastle home

Alot of shots although quite wayward.  Created chances and a high average position.

Mitrovic Newcastle v Bournemouth away

Did absolutely nothing along with the whole Newcastle team.  Hard to believe they won.

Mahrez Leicester v Watford home

Did have an advanced position although slightly wide and not that central.  Did have some shooting stats but didn’t create many chances.  Some set piece involvement.  Very involved.

Ighalo Watford v Leicester away

Very little in the way of involvement or shooting/creating chances stats. Was the most advanced of the 2 strikers.  Quiet

Rooney Man Utd v WBA home

At least had some shots and created a couple of chances although not really as involved as you’d like. Played behind Martial centrally.

Rondon WBA v Man Utd away

Very quiet subbed around 70 mins

Ayew, Siggurdson and Gomis Swansea v Norwich away

Gomis had a load of shots but just couldn’t score.  Ayew was very quiet.  No shots, too deep and not very involved.  Siggy was quite involved had a couple of shots and created chances.  Didn’t seem to have much set piece involvement.

Mane and Pelle Southampton v Sunderland away

Mane was a definite threat with some shooting and creating chances stats.  As much as you’d expect against Sunderland is the question?  Mane was deeper then expected.  Pelle was pretty disappointing from the shooting stats point of view although created a couple of chances.

Payet West Ham v Everton home

Went off after 50 mins or so with an injury although even in that time he still created a pretty impressive number of chances.  Injury doesn’t look  good according to Bilic.

Barkley Everton v West Ham away

A few shots but none from inside the box and didn’t get into the box at all.  Did create some chances and was central if a little detached from Lukaku

Hazard, Costa and Willian v Stoke away

Hazard was very advanced and involved, had alot of shooting opportunities and created chances.  Costa not so much but did have some chances and creating some when not picking a fight with other players, stewards etc.  Willian was also advanced and had alot of set piece responsibility.  Willian had ok shooting and creating chances stats.

Hope you found it interesting.  I’ll try and do something for Sunday too.
