Here’s my rating of all the fantasy premier league defences home and away coming into GW30.
I’ve based it on goals conceded and clean sheets plus some underlying defensive stats. They’re ranked in the table below with GC (goals conceded) and CS (clean sheets) in the columns for reference. If you cant be bothered with the detail then below the table I’ve put a couple of short paragraphs with the implications. I will also integrate the best players into my defensive “ones to watch” article coming up.

There will be more detail in my defensive “ones to watch” article but the best overall defensive teams appear to be Chelsea, Man City, Everton Man Utd and Southampton. Arsenal have recently slipped out of this due to a worsening away record. Man City will get more clean sheets away in my view.
The best home budget home teams appear to be Hull and Norwich.
WBA are a team that also should be getting more clean sheets. The Man Utd game was preceded by good home defensive performances against Everton, Arsenal and Liverpool.
