Here’s my rating of the fantasy premier league defences based on an underlying stats analysis. I have split out each teams home and away defence and ranked them separately as the differences are interesting. There’s also a marked difference in the 2 some times so to treat them as an equal ranking in assessing them just doesn’t work. I’ve put the best defenders name for each team based on value, game time security and attacking potential against the home defensive ranking. They are over the whole season so sometimes the results can be a little counter intuitive over recent games.
