So if you know the FFGeek team the transfer was blatantly obvious. Sakho out and Kane in. There was no other choice really. I needed to make some changes in defence but with me using the January WC coming up there seemed little point in ignoring the obvious transfer. Aguero coming fit was a consideration but I thought I would leave it this week just to see if he does make it to the bench.
Here’s the team and then I’ll talk through the selection issues.
The defence was a bit of a nightmare in that I have 2 defenders who probably won’t start. I decided there was too much chance of Moore coming on as a sub so I went for Toure. O’Shea as a certain starter was always going to be in.
The attacking player to sit on the bench was also a difficult one. It was between Siggy, Austin and Sterling. I had to keep Austin in as I think even with his record away from home up against his old club is too good to bench. Then it became between Siggy and Sterling. Siggy at home to West Ham is a good fixture but Sterling as a striker has been knocking on the door of a big score for some time so I’ve gone for Siggy on the bench.
The captain choice if you saw my recent article is undoubtedly Hazard. I went for Sanchez as a reserve.
