I’ve had a bit of a scour around the social media world to find out how fantasy premier league teams evolving from managers with a good FPL history. I thought it would be interesting for people to see what some good managers are doing with their teams at the moment. The versions I’ve used to construct a template are no more than a few days old.

K Long and Alonso were in 4/10 managers teams
Blind and Suttner were in 3/10 managers teams
Mee, Bertrand, Kolasinac, Yoshida and Rangel were in 2/10 managers teams

A combined team within the £100m budget
Some observations
So to me this is a good squad.
Structure
Structurally it looks like a 3-4-3 would be the best use of this team. However the 3 premium defenders plus 2 £4.5m defenders gives the potential to go 4 at the back if anyone is rotated or if Zaha, Rodriguez or Tadic have an undesirable fixture. The premium striker front 3 or the premium 4 man defence didn’t really exist.
Surprises not in the team
By the wat, I’m not saying I think they should have been there just generally surprised.
I’m surprised the Man Utd defence only had 4 representations . Alli and Eriksen were quite low picks as well. Sane and Coutinho as low picks were also surprising. A lack of a Man City defence and no Jesus and only 1 Aguero pick were surprises. No Arsenal players at all.
Surprises about the team
Again this is observation not disagreement.
I’m surprised that Kane was so comprehensively picked. I’m not surprised about Lukaku. Rodriguez surprises me although he has shown good pre-season form. I probably wouldn’t have thought that Elliot would have been so comprehensively picked
Some players to monitor in the team
It wouldn’t surprise me if Newcastle bought a GK which would make Elliot’s place a monitor.
Cedric hasn’t played in pre-season and has only just returned to training after the Confederation cup so he’s a monitor. Yoshida is a change at the same price
There has been talk about LB Sandro joining Chelsea which would make Alonso a gametime risk.
Rodriguez isn’t going to lead the line as a CF it seems. It seems he will either be in the front 3 wide of Rondon or behind Rondon in the 3 of 4-2-3-1.
Hope you found that interesting
