I have unfortunately not given the ultimate losers league enough coverage this season so here it is going into the last game of the season. You may remember that this was the league where the object was to finish bottom of the league with the least amount of points. The tricky bit was that you had to spend all your money and after the team was set you could not make any transfers or touch the team in any way. So lets see how it’s looking going into the final week

Firstly here’s the bottom of the league
I was in 50th place with 815. So Parth Gunjal looks certain to “win” given his 108 point “lead”
Lets look at his team:
The tricky bit is spending all your money and to do that you have to pick expensive players who fail to produce. That is what Parth did fantastically well. Sturridge, Jovetic and YaYa Toure in particular were great purchases for alot of money that all failed dismally. Willian and The Ox also failed to get a regular spot.
Lets have a look at my team which got 815 points to date over 200 points “behind” Parth
Unlike Parth my gamble on the fitness of Aguero and Cazorla having rotation problems just didn’t work. Surprisingly in retrospect Aguero was a popular choice as a way of spending your cash. Other than that only Demichelis and Fellaini really had any gametime but the big player gambles are what decide your rank
