fantasy premier league tips – potential premier league lineups for GW3

Fantasy Premier League, lineups

Jordan Sadler has provided this helpful fantasy premier league tips article with the potential premier league team lineups for GW3.  It also includes injury information and where the potential lineup unknowns are.

fantasy premier league tips – potential premier league lineups for GW3

These are my predicted lineups for gameweek 3. These should become more accurate the further into the season we get. There are also a list of injured players for each club and their expected return days. Key: Two players separated by a / means I’m unsure which of the two will start. A player in grey means there is a potential chance they may start instead of the player in white.

Arsenal

fantasy premier league tips

New signing Torreira hasn’t started a game yet but I’d expect him to start working his way into the starting lineup very soon. Emery seems to be experimenting with his front 4 currently so there is a chance Lacazette and Iwobi could start but this week I’d expect him to go with the same four from the first game against Manchester City.

Injuries:

– Sead Kolasinac: Knee injury (October return expected)

– Laurent Koscielney: Achilles injury (November return expected)

– Ainsley Maitland-Niles: Leg injury (November return expected)

Bournemouth

fantasy premier league tips

Bournemouth’s line up basically picks itself this week. Next week however I wouldn’t be surprised Diego Rico come in for Daniels at LB. Howe also said Lerma may start a game soon so that is something I will monitor.

Injuries:

– Jefferson Lerma: Lack of match fitness (75% chance)

– Junior Stanislas: Knee injury (unknown return)

– Diego Rico: 1 match ban (1st September return)

Brighton

fantasy premier league tips

With Dunk out, Balogun is the natural replacement. With Bruno out I’d expect Bong to take his place however, Bernardo is also a potential LB option.

Injuries:

– Florine Andone: Knock (1st September return expected)

– Lewis Dunk: Ankle injury (1st September return expected)

– Jose Izquierdo: Knock (1st September return expected)

– Bruno: Hamstring injury (1st September return expected)

Burnley

fantasy premier league tips

Heaton played in the Europa League on Thursday and so there is a chance he now becomes the new number one, I’d expect Hart to hold his place for now, but you never know.

Injuries:

– Robbie Brady: Lack of match fitness (2nd September return expected)

– Steven Defour: Calf injury (unknown return)

– Nick Pope: Shoulder dislocation (unknown return)

– Matej Vydra: Lack of match fitness (50% chance)

Cardiff

fantasy premier league tips

Neil Warnock has been speaking about being experimental with players over the next few weeks so he could change formations.

Injuries:

– Aron Gunnarsson: Knee injury (15th September return expected)

– David Hoilett: Knock (75% chance)

Chelsea

fantasy premier league tips

Sarri has stated that Kovacic and Hazard are both ready for 50-60 minutes which makes me assume they will likely start. I’m unsure however who will be dropped out of Pedro and Willian as Pedro has been excellent in the first two fixtures but I feel Sarri prefers Willian.

Injuries:

– Cesc Fabregas: Knee injury (25th August return expected)

Crystal Palace

fantasy premier league tips

Hodgson has said Meyer is ready for a start so my assumption is that will be for Schlupp. With Wan-Bissaka banned Joel Ward is the natural replacement at RB.

Injuries:

– Scott Dann: Knee injury (unknown return)

– Aaron Wan-Bissaka: 1 match ban (1st September return)

– Papa Souare: Muscle injury (75%)

Everton

fantasy premier league tips

With Schneiderlin out injured that opens the door for Tom Davies to get some minutes. Silva has stated Digne and Zouma are both fit and so I’m sure they will both now be pushing for starting spots which I’d expect to come over the next couple of weeks if not this week.

Injuries:

– Bernard: Lack of match fitness (75%)

– James McCarthy: Leg injury (Unknown return)

– Phil Jagielka: 1 match ban (1st September return)

– Yerry Mina: Foot injury (15th September return expected)

– Morgan Schneiderlin: Knock (1st September return expected)

– Andre Gomes: Thigh injury (15th September return expected)

Fulham

fantasy premier league tips

Schurrle was dropped last week for Kamara but I’d expect him to reclaim his place this week. Fabri hasn’t looked very convincing so far so I’d expect Rico to be getting a chance in goal at some point soon.

Injuries:

– Floyd Ayite: Lack of match fitness (1st September return expected)

– Alfie Mawson: Lack of match fintess (1st September return expected)

– Tim Ream: Knock (1st September return expected)

Huddersfield

fantasy premier league tips

Huddersfield are an incredibly difficult team to predict. They played 4-2-3-1 last season but they’ve played 3-5-1-1 and 4-4-2 in their two games so far this season. I’ve put this team together but I’d be very surprised if I got it correct. There’s a good chance he could play 5 at the back now Zanka is back fit. The only players I feel confident in saying will play are Mounie, Pritchard, Lowe and Schindler, other than that it’s anybody’s guess.

Injuries: None

Leicester

fantasy premier league tips

I’d expect Iheanacho to replace Jamie Vardy for his 2 match suspension and the only other questionable position is whether it will be Mendy or Silva partnering Ndidi but I’d expect Mendy personally.

Injuries:

– Shinji Okazaki: Lack of match fitness (50%)

– Caglar Soyuncu: Lack of match fitness (1st September return expected)

– Jamie Vardy: 2 match ban (15th September return)

Liverpool

fantasy premier league tips

Liverpool’s offence and defence picks itself but it wouldn’t surprise me to Henderson or Fabinho at the base of midfield this week instead of Wijnaldum with Wijnaldum or Milner rested this week.

Injuries:

– Dejan Lovren: Pelvic injury (15th September return expected)

– Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain: Knee injury (unknown return)

Manchester City

fantasy premier league tips

Predicting Pep is a near impossible task. I’ve put 4-3-3 (or 4-1-4-1) here but he could stick with 3-5-2 from last week with it being so successful against Huddersfield.

Injuries:

– Claudio Bravo: Achilles injury (unknown return)

– Danilo: Ankle sprain (unknown return)

– Kevin De Bruyne: Knee injury (November return expected)

Manchester United

fantasy premier league tips

Assuming Sanchez is fit I’d expect him to start but if not I’d expect Martial to replace him. The midfield I’d say is set unless Matic is fully fit in which case he may switch for Pereira. Valencia seems to be back so this could spell the end of Luke Shaw at LB but we shall see.

Injuries:

– Diogo Dalot: Knock (2nd September return expected)

– Nemanja Matic: Abdominal injury (27th August return expected)

– Marcos Rojo: Knock (27th August return expected)

– Sergio Romero: Knee injury (unknown return)

– Alexis Sanchez: Knock (75%)

– Luke Shaw: Foot injury (75%)

Newcastle United

fantasy premier league tips

Kenedy is ineligible to play against his parent club therefore I’d expect Murphy or Atsu to take his place in LM. Rondon I’d expect to start working his way into the starting line up soon so I do think Joselu’s place is under threat, similarly for Fernandez coming in for Clark. Manquillo picked up a knock so I’d expect Yedlin replace him at RB.

Injuries:

– Isaac Hayden: 2 match ban (15th September return)

– Florian Lejeune: Knee injury (unknown return)

– Javier Manquillo: Knock (75%)

– Kenedy: Ineligible (1st September return)

Southampton

fantasy premier league tips

Vestergaard has recovered from his illness ready for the weekend so I’d expect him to start with one of Hoedt or Stephens to partner him. However, Hughes could also now go back to 3 at the back like in game week 1 which could see one of the strikers or midfielders drop out.

Injuries:

– Mohammed Elyounoussi: Hamstring injury (75%)

Spurs

fantasy premier league tips

If Pochettino plays 4 at the back against United then this is the lineup I’d expect with Alderweireld dropped, but he could also play 3 at the back again with Moura potentially dropping out. However, with it being against United, I’d expect him to play 4-2-3-1 as normal.

Injuries:

– Vincent Janssen: Foot injury (unknown return)

– Son Heung-min: Asian games (15th September at the latest but could be 2nd September)

– Wanyama: Knee injury (unknown return)

Watford

fantasy premier league tips

With Watford being so successful so far I’d expect to see Gracia play the same team as the first two games of the season.

Injuries:

– Nathaniel Chalobah: Knock (25th August return expected)

– Tom Cleverley: Achilles injury (unknown return)

– Gerard Deulofeu: Knock (25th August return expected)

– Stefano Okaka: Thigh injury (25th August return expected)

West Ham

fantasy premier league tips

I feel Pellegrini is still trying to get to grips with his new side and 9 new signings, so I’d expect to see quite a bit of rotation and formation change over the coming weeks.

Injuries:

– Andy Carroll: Ankle injury (unknown return)

– Manuel Lanzini: Knee injury (unknown return)

– Mark Noble: Back injury (75%)

– Winston Reid: Knee injury (unknown return)

Wolves

fantasy premier league tips

Costa has been largely ineffective in the first two games of the season and Traore was excellent in the second half against Leicester so it wouldn’t surprise me to see him start against Manchester City. Otherwise, I’d expect Wolves to be unchanged assuming Doherty is fully fit.

Injuries:

– Ivan Cavaleiro: Back injury (unknown return)

– Matt Dohery: Knock (75%)

Great effort Jordan thanks very much
