LAST WEEK
I know it’s stupid but how much difference does it make to your weekend to have a good FPL week?
62 points so pretty pleasing after a few rough weeks and moving up 235k positions
I often say that FPL is a game of 50/50 decisions and if the Aguero captain one was wrong Holebas was the right one. I was so close to putting Pieters to save £0.1m for reasons I can’t remember now.
TRANSFERS THIS WEEK
No transfers after last week using my wildcard. Wasn’t any drastic need so stuck with the team and will use 2 next week most likely.
So here’s the lineup:
TEAM SELECTION DECISIONS
No team selection issues apart from 1. Holebas vs Austin
The bad side of having Holebas is that the downside is you get it wrong can easily be up to 15 points. In the end I stuck with Austin due to his pens and form but it wasn’t easy. Bookies wise Amat would have been the better choice believe it or not with clean sheet odds of £2.87 vs Austin at £3.30 as an any time scorer and Holebas for a clean sheet at £3.75. There was no way Austin was going on the bench for Amat so Austin it was. I went for Pickford over Foster as it just seemed a little ridiculous to go for Foster at Liverpool
BOOKIES TEAM RATING
So pretty good. Anytime you’ve got an average under £2.60 (especially with the GK rating) you’ve got to be happy. Only 3 players at £3.00 or lower and 4 players under £2.00 is all pretty good.
CAPTAIN CHOICE
Probably between Sanchez and Aguero although notionally I’ve put it on Aguero for the moment. Don’t take it as a serious choice ant the moment. I’ll confirm in my captain article if I were to change
