Here’s my view of the Barclays fantasy premier league transfers GW35 bandwagons and sinking ships. If your’e not familiar these are the 5 most transferred in and the 5 most transferred out players so far in the gameweek. Remember there are still 3 games to go midweek (Arsenal v West Ham, Everton v Crystal Palace and Man City v Sunderland) so there’s extra risk in going early
I’ve put the fixtures to the end of the season after each player and specifically highlighted which have 2 games in DGW37.

Eriksen
Its now 4 goals and 3 assists in his last 4 games. Thats includes his last minute equaliser at the weekend against WBA. Also has a good share of set pieces. Good fixtures as well to the end of the season including Fulham at home next.
Fixtures to the end of the season:
Fulham (H)
Stoke City (A)
West Ham (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Silva
In excellent form. Ran the 2nd half ending up with a goal and an assist. Its now 3 goals and 4 assists in his last 6 games. Playing behind a lone striker so getting far more quality chances to score than previously. Will be interesting to see if he plays against Sunderland with an ongoing ankle issue as that may effect DGW37 gametime. Also has risk about position with Aguero back if Pellgrini goes back to 2 strikers. Still with YYT looking injured possibily for the rest of the season and a DGW37 coming up for City Silva looks the best bet as a replacement even with the risks.
Fixtures to the end of the season excl DGW34:
Sunderland (H)
West Brom (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Everton (A) DGW37
Aston Villa (H) DGW37
West Ham (H)
Aguero
Only came on as a sub and was very quiet in the 30 minutes that he was on. However this is a guy who’s returns are close to Suarez’s so he can’t be ignored. DGW37 coming up plus very good fixtures with David Silva creating chances a plenty. To me he’s a must have who’s worth the gamble even with the fitness risk but I would personally wait until after the Sunderland game to buy him to avoid any further injury risk and to assess gametime
Fixtures to the end of the season excl DGW34:
West Brom (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Everton (A) DGW37
Aston Villa (H) DGW37
West Ham (H)
Gerrard
Mr Consistency strikes again with an assist in the City game with 1 of his 2 corners compared to Coutinho’s 5. Why he doesn’t take every corner over Coutinho is beyond me.
10 of his 13 premier league goals have come from the spot. Also has non direct free kicks in his locker. Despite seeming a fairly small return base his stats are staggering. He’s scored or assisted in nearly 80% of his games if you strip out the first 5 blanks. Incredibly 3 goals and an assist in his last 4 games despite what seems lessened opportunities. In addition to that he’s now through the yellow card tightrope so the potential 2 match ban hanging over him has gone. A few tricky fixtures to navigate yet though.
Fixtures to the end of the season:
Norwich (A)
Chelsea (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Newcastle (H)
Mata
The sign of people getting ready for DGW37 where United have 2 good quality home games plus a good GW36 fixture home to Norwich. However considering only Liverpool have scored more goals away from home than United and 11 teams have score more at home (including Stoke) that remains a quandry. Home to Norwich, Hull and Sunderland on face value couldn’t be better. In Sunderland and Norwich you have 2 of the 4 teams who have conceded the most goals away. Looking at the results at home since Mata joined though does give a more positive context.
CAR(H) 2-0
FUL(H) 2-2
LIV(H) 0-3
MCI(H) 0-3
AVL(H) 4-1
You can see they’ve scored 8 goals in 3 games against the lower placed teams
Here’s the full fixtures to the end of the season:
Everton (A)
Norwich (H)
Sunderland (H) DGW37
Hull City (H) DGW37
Southampton (A)

Yaya Toure
Went off after 18 minutes. This is what Pellegrini said:
‘It will be difficult for Yaya Toure to finish playing this season.’
A rather strange sentence but the general interpretation is that he could be out for the season. Personally I’m going to wait for more news but that being the case it’s a definite sell. Silva’s the obvious buy as a replacement
Fixtures to the end of the season excl DGW34:
West Brom (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Everton (A) DGW37
Aston Villa (H) DGW37
West Ham (H)
Hazard
Sold in bucket loads last week and continuing.
This is what the assistant Chelsea first team coach said
“Eden Hazard should be fit sooner rather than later, we can’t say for sure when, but a week’s break is good for us,”
He’s still got no return date on Physioroom.com
Personally I sold him as I can see the amount of sales bringing the sell and buy back price closer together. Also the Champions league progression will mean that he will inevitably be rotated.
Fixtures to the end of the season:
Sunderland (H)
Liverpool (A)
Norwich (H)
Cardiff City (A
Rodriguez
Out for 6 months and will miss the chance to go to the world cup. Such a shame after such a good season. A definite sell ASAP
Sturridge
Rodgers had the following to say
“We’ll see how he is over the next couple of days, He felt a wee bit of tightness in his hamstring, so we’ll just see how that is in the next couple of days.”
Personally I can see the ideal forward line now being Rooney, Aguero and Suarez but if I wanted to stick with Sturridge I would give it a few more days to see whether there is an issue.
Fixtures to the end of the season:
Norwich (A)
Chelsea (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Newcastle (H)
Henderson
Sent off for a pretty nasty tackle and will now face a 3 match ban. With only 4 games to go. Thats a sell
Fixtures to the end of the season:
Norwich (A)
Chelsea (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Newcastle (H)
