I’m not sure team value is going to be a particularly big factor this year at the moment but facing another potential Wilson price drop tonight I decided to make a decision and do a transfer. So here’s my fantasy premier league transfers article where I outline the transfer and the inevitable umming and erring that went with it.

So the early transfer was the obvious one of Wilson out Vardy in. Here’s the team with some sort of lineup for GW8
My choice was between 3 players, Vardy, Gomis and Sakho. Gomis has 2 good fixtures next but the fact he was taken off after 45 minutes against Southampton after doing nothing is not great. Vardy also has far better stats all round including underlying stats and so Gomis came first
Sakho was far closer. A fixture next to Sunderland is a pretty attractive proposition although a fixture against Chelsea in a couple of games isn’t ideal depending on whether Chelsea have shown any defensive improvement at that time. Sakho is far less involved and creates less chances than Vardy and also seems, perhaps as a result, to have some problem getting bonus points as to date, despite 3 goals and an assist, only has 1 bonus point.
I’m not that keen on 2 Leicester players thats for sure but in the end the case seemed better for Vardy than Sakho although I could easily have gone for either.
Thats it decision made and now just hope no injury hits to Vardy.
