fantasy premier league wildcard – the procrastination continues

Fantasy Premier League

Here’s just a very quick article to tell you that I’ve yet to decide on which team to run with so I’ve made a couple of changes to secure a price rise so I can procrastinate even more tomorrow morning.  Oh and btw there’s another option on the table.  The vote in the comments section was also interesting

fantasy premier league wildcard – the procrastination continues

Firstly the vote for the 3 options in our latest wildcard article was interesting.  The vote was split evenly between option 1, the sacrifice defence option with the option 2 the sacrifice Son option.  Option 3 sacrifice Austin for 3-5-2 got little attention.  Thanks very much to everyone who put their vote in the comments section.  Interestingly Alex and Rob who both gave articles last week went for option 1.

The days events have still left me undecided.  The prospects of Sanchez playing with Giroud injured and Perez not match fit and a relatively easy UCL game midweek makes me think Sanchez will start.  Aguero has been back in training and Everton are no mugs.  No Aguero would be a big risk.  Pochettino though did talk openly about rotation and mentioned Son specifically.  However 4-1-4-1 with Lamela also having travelled and Son having played striker last week there’s alot of places to accommodate him.  So I felt better about the Son risk given that the situation seemed better on the Aguero and Sanchez risk.  What I don’t like about it is the lack of cover for rotation.  There’s absolutely no bench depth for injuries which option 2 does have.  On the other side Snodgrass doesn’t excite me like Son does.

With Austin going up in price tonight according to the excellent price change site FPL statistics I had the choice of deciding on the option or just bagging his price and adjusting elsewhere to allow me to procrastinate all over again tomorrow.  What would you do today that you can put off until tomorrow was my theory so I’ve done that.  No one else appears to be a price risk to upset my plans at this stage.

 So changes were

Austin in Diomande out.  He himself may go up but I would probably go for Stuani anyway

Stones out – Love in

Smith out – Browning in

Here’s the temporary hold

The holding team seems safe until tomorrow but I’ll check it later if I have to make a snap decision

THE COSTA OPTION

Here’s an option which has Costa in the team.  He has 4 yellows and 1 more before the end of the year gets him a suspension which is a bit off putting.  As are Chelseas fixtures.  However you can’t argue with his form

Anyway more food for thought.  Tomorrow thankfully I have to make a decision and can’t keep inventing different scenarios and reasons to not make a decision.
