Fantasy premier league wildcard tips – the FFGeek imaginary wildcard

Fantasy Premier League

Here’s our fantasy premier league wildcard tips article where we pretend we have a wildcard to use.  It’s a way of giving player suggestions with more longevity than just the next gameweek

Fantasy premier league wildcard tips – the FFGeek imaginary wildcard

Personally I think this is the wrong time to wildcard.  See my recent article on blanks and double gameweeks.  This is just a way of giving player suggestions with a longer timeframe.  Not much in the way of stats I’m afraid.  I’m too time poor.

Here’s the team.  The value is £106.0m.  I’ve gone for the cheap defender of the team version rather than the expensive one.  See my article on defenders if you want to go for the expensive version.

Here’s the team:

The GK and defence

No DGW players here apart from Otamendi and Robles.  They’ll all be able to show up in GW30.   Robles I think is a good option as a cheap DGW keeper despite Evertons defence not being the greatest.  The rest are fairly predictable choices although all at the value end.  Wimmer should get you to your wildcard or there or therabouts before Vertonghen is back.

The midfield

The 2 highest owned midfield players here show up in Ozil and Mahrez.  Firmino is the form player.  Alli is the cheap fixture player with Norwich next.  Silva is a risky play to take advantage of Citys next fixture and their good schedule for blanks and DGWs. I think he’s the best replacement for YYT in the City team.   If you can’t afford one of the players a great GW30 option is Josh King of Bournemouth who should play behind striker Afobe.

Forwards

No surprises here.  The obvious front 3.

GW30 watch

Only 2 players on the bench.  It’s possible to put another defender on there for the DGW such as a WBA defender who will also have a GW35 fixture.

That’s it sorry for the short article.
