So here’s the team with a value around £103m
The blank weeks
So no one in the team that has a blank week in GW27 although there is Kane and Arnautovic who are slight injury doubts.
As for the mass blank week of GW30 there is the reserve GK of Hennessey who will ultimately have a DGW at some stage. Payet definitely doesn’t have a game as is the case with Costa. Ozil and Monreal are probably not going to have a game in GW30 as I’m assuming for the moment they will win the FA Cup 5th round replay against Hull.
There’s plenty of time also to construct a team for a potential DGW34 although I for one wouldn’t use my wildcard now it’s more for illustrative purposes.
The defence
Start with a Spurs and Arsenal defender who are the 1st and 3rd best defence in my view, Man Utd have too many injuries and selection issues with Smalling too expensive to be considered at the moment. Wimmer is a great value but possible only will get a few games from him
The rest are with GW30 in my mind certainly Leicester and Stoke have reasonable fixtures. Bournemouth has a fixture and Daniels at least has pens (assuming his recent miss hasn’t displaced it).
The midfield
Apart from their being 5 midfielders there’s no real surprises. The only choice was Eriksen or to save money for Alli.
The forwards
I don’t think Kane or Vardy will be a shock to anyone. The question really is just whether to put Aguero on the bench or put Costa in the team with having an Aguero plan for at least GW29 when they’re home to Villa
