fantasy premier league wildcard tips – my imaginary wildcard GW13

Fantasy Premier League

Here’s my fantasy premier league imaginary wildcard team.   This is where I pretend I’m using my wildcard to give you some food for thought on who to put in your team for your GW13 transfer or transfers.  It’s to give a bit of a longer view on players than if the picks were just for GW13 only which is a bit of an unrealistic look at your transfer options

As I said here’s where I pretend I have a Wildcard and use it.  This is just to help you make a decision on what transfers you are going to do for GW12.

Here’s the team.  I have just done some quick comments on each player and the structure.  You can find full details including stats and upcoming fixtures on all the players in my “ones to watch” articles.  The team value is around £104.0m

The GKs

I’ve gone for the cheapie GK option with the team reserve GK as back up.  This is increasing trend you’ll notice if you follow the top 10 FPL managers in my article of the same name.  WBA have a reasonable all round defence and Foster is a good shot stopper.

The defence

I’ve gone for the 2 elite team options in Chambers and Azpilicueta.  These 2 defences could have performed better but I still believe long term they eill offer the best value and clean sheets.  These 2 will play every game.  I’ve then surrounded them with cheapie defenders who will take the last spot depending on fixtures.  This is really so I can afford the rest of the attacking players in the team.

The midfield

Di Maria, Hazard and Siggy have got the fixtures and the form going forward.  Sanchez is on fire and fixture proof.  Boyd is the benchwarmer with at least some attacking potential.

The forwards

Aguero and Costa should need no introduction. I’ve gone for Charlie Austin as my 3rd forward to give funds to invest elsewhere.

Thats it.  Excuse the very brief nature but there’s loads of detail on each player in the “ones to watch” articles.
