Here’s my fantasy premier league imaginary wildcard team. This is where I pretend I’m using my wildcard to give you some food for thought on who to put in your team for your GW16 transfer or transfers. It’s to give a bit of a longer view on players than if the picks were just for GW16 only which is a bit of an unrealistic look at your transfer options

As I said here’s where I pretend I have a Wildcard and use it. This is just to help you make a decision on what transfers you are going to do for GW16.
Here’s the team. I have just done some quick comments on each player and the structure. You can find full details including stats and upcoming fixtures on all the players in my “ones to watch” articles. The team value is around £103.0m
Goalkeepers
I’ve gone for the save points and home and away clean sheet ability of WBA’s Foster and his deputy in Myhill here. It was a choice between him, Guzan and Green all of which have representation at good value in the defender ranks
Defenders
I’ve gone for the 2 big team defenders in Azpilicueta and Zabaleta and then surrounded them with cheap rotating 3rd defenders.
Midfield
Sanchez is the fixture proof player. Hazard has good fixtures in the short term as does Siggy. Yaya Toure is form and fixtures plus penalties with Aguero injured. Boyd is the filler.
Forwards
I’ve gone for Costa as the base and regular captain option. Then I’ve gambled with the fixtures of Dzeko and his ability to either score big or miss from 2 yards. There’s alot of eggs in the Man City basket but their fixtures are too tempting to be ignored. Lastly I’ve gone for the form of cheapie Sakho. I would have liked Bony but while I would gamble on doubling up on attack with Man City I don’t trust Swansea for that.
