Ok so here’s the team. It’s a pretty affordable value. Below the team I’ll give some brief words on team structure and player selection:
Team structure and player selection
So I’m sticking with the basic principle of playing 3-4-3 but the Everton defence has tempted me to play 3 principle defenders with 2 in Soaure and Amat as fillers for the more difficult fixtures. I’ve gone for Chelsea over Man City and retained the Man Utd defence as there’s quite a bit of ownership tied up in it with De Gea, Valencia and Shaw so worth having.
Up front Aguero and Ibrahimovic need no reasoning. I’ve chosen Rondon very marginally over Negredo but could have easily gone the other way. Rondon has great fixtures but little in the way of FPL history. Negredo has made a great start and had good stats back with Man City but there’s still some question over lack of underlying stats. At the lower value end there’s generally some compromise on the ideal though.
The midfield has had to see some sacrifices for the players upfront. Hazard stays in as does Barkley. Capoue seems the best prospect in the £4.5m range. Redmond while he’s striker with Sunderland as an opponent next is a good prospect. Lamela was the last picked as a fit in.
The core could be argued now as only Aguero and Ibrahimovic and Hazard maybe which ends up with 4 fixture based players in attack. The wide range of players to pick from really makes it difficult to have a core set of players which is in place irrespective of fixtures.
I’ve stuck with 3 £4.5m maximum value players on the bench within the structure
Thats it. Brief but as I said all the detail on players is in the “ones to watch” articles
