FPL TEAMS GW4 – FFGEEK CONTRIBUTORS SHOW THEIR TEAMS – PART 2

Here’s the 2nd part of the first week of the series where 10 or so FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It also wont covering early transfers. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more

Again, forgive me if the formatting doesn’t work out 100%

Cesspool

Last season he finished in 21k overall rank.

 Current rank 808k

My current rank is 808,000. I debated long and hard over whether it was time to play my wildcard to go in a different direction.  I was seriously thinking of ditching Kane one week ahead of the crowd because if he blanks at Everton the selling will be ferocious.  Trading him for Morata and gaining 2.4M to spend really can transform the balance of the team.  To me the situation is not unlike Aguero last year where so many people simply could not bear to be without him–and it was largely to their detriment.
I discussed whether to use my WC in a comments section on this site (I go by Cesspool) but was wisely advised by Itchie to be more patient.  That advice made sense…given that the second wildcard is played after week 30, going 27 games with no wildcard seemed more than a little frivolous given that players and outlooks for them seem to change every week.  Like this week’s Robbie Brady and Kyle Naughton bandwagons– all they have is a bit of favourable stats over a scant three games.  So I decided to play for small wins and not a coup de grace.
I sold Stones at 5.5 because he turned out to be the odd man out when Man City goes to a back four. Plus with Liverpool visiting the Etihad this week, I doubt Pep will go for a three man backline given that the Reds utterly destroyed Arsenal in that formation.  I picked up Mee at 4.5 because Burnley have some excellent home fixtures coming up with Palace first.  Plus I will have now accumulated enough cash to do Chicharito to Firmino next week as planned.
Hoping that Kane comes to life this week to prove the doubters wrong–just like they were wrong about Salah last week.  Repeating to myself– it is a marathon not a sprint. It is a marathon not a sprint.  Best of luck to you this week.  Feel free to make suggestions for my team in the comment section!  Cesspool
