Here we go through the previous list of defenders, midfielders and forwards and update it for any information gained after the friendlies. We’ll reproduce the schedule and put some comments on changes. This will mainly be for gametime or injuries and not wholesale changes

Defence
What I haven’t done is substitute players for cheaper ones en masse. See my recent article for defensive cheapies
- Rudiger is injured and out of the tournament. Hummels is injured for 1 to 2 games and Mustafi is probably the most likely replacement
- Saving £1m for Juanfran over Ramos depends on whether you believe he hasn’t played many of the friendlies due to the champions league or doubts over his starting place.
- Denayer seems to be starting for Belguim however ridiculous it seems
- Darmian didn’t play the last friendly which isn’t helpful for his place. Giaccherini at £5.0m seems an alternative.
- Djourou didn’t start the last friendly which gives no cheap option for Switzerland. Rodriguez is £6.0m
- Vida is also a little uncertain although started the lasy 2 friendlies. Corluka is an expensive guarantee at £5.5m. Strinic at £4.0m is the ultimate gamble and could start
- Saevarsson didn’t start the last friendly. R Sigurdsson at £5.5m is the safe bet
Midfielders
- Martial’s place has to be in jeopardy. He hasn’t started the last 2 friendlies. Either Payet or Coman will start ahead of him. I will put either of them in the team if Martial doesn’t start given Frances Group. Remember we should see the lineup
- There is some question over Grosicki’s fitness although news is hard to get
- There’s some doubt over Stanciu although he did play the last friendly if not the one before.
Forwards
- Pelle has had an injury scare although he did come on as a sub on Monday
- Morata of Spain has had some injury scares but appears like he will be fit and after the loss to Geotgia seems certain to lead the line. He was not in my stats due to gametime uncertainty but at £8.5m seems a credible option
- Nolito at £6.0m for Spain has also shone
