My Sky Sports fantasy football team for game week 18

Here’s my Sky Sports fantasy football team for game week 18.  I’m in 1959 position overall.  1 transfer made this game week.  My team is public if you’re in my league and want to see it

The transfer I made was David  Silva in for Fellaini.  I had a good hard long think about whether to put Gareth Bale in for Fellaini instead.  However I went for Silva for the following reasons

• Reading at home today
•  There 3 fixtures this month are slightly easier than Spurs.  Its Reading H Sun A  Nor A vs Stoke H,  Avl A, and Sun  A.  Bale is a long term member of my team and I can swap him in GW21 in the new year for the Reading home game
• Bale is just recovered from a hamstring injury.  That gives me some doubt about him starting today despite what AVB has said but it also makes him more rotatable over Xmas.
• Nasri is injured with no return date so that makes Silvas participation even more secure over the period

Don’t get me wrong this is a short term transfer.  Bale is a key member of my philosophy and in GW21 will go in my team, probably  for the rest of the year.  Silva doesn’t have the in the box shooing stats that Bale has.
