My Sky Sports fantasy football team game week 3 – enforced changes!

Sky Sports FF

Here’s my sky sports fantasy football team for GW3.  There were 3  enforced changes with the transfer of VDV, injury to Lucas and Rooney plus an optional one with Torres not playing (although I could have ridden that out.)

I’ve now used 5 sky sports fantasy football transfers.  Essentially I wanted to use 3 per month with 3 emergency transfers upmy sleeve and I’ve now used 2 of those emergency transfers.  I will be holding off any more transfers no matter what until October

Heres the Sky Sports fantasy football team with the explanation of transfers:

Hart, Joe

0pts
£6.0m
Zabaleta, Pablo

2pts
£5.6m
Rafael

9pts
£6.6m
Pearce, Alex

-1pts
£4.2m
Bale, Gareth

4pts
£8.8m
I bought him in for VDV as I think its essential to have Spurs coverage with Norwich H Reading A and QPR H.    With the uncertainty over Adebayor starting as well as Siggys game time and Dempsey not being available to play today Bale was the default option almost.  That sounds a weak argument but lets not forget only Dempsey performed better last year and his underlying stats are still strong and with these fixtures Bale can never be a poor choice.
Toure, Yaya

16pts
£8.1m
Arteta, Mikel

10pts
£6.2m
Allen, Joe

6pts
£5.8m
Michu

27pts
£5.5m
Do I need to explain.  I’m still wondering how after talking about him on the site he only appeared in my Telegraph fantasy football team and no other.  Never mind he’s in now and with Swanseas excellent fixtures either him  Graham are the best option for coverage
van Persie, Robin  (CAPTAIN)

8pts
£10.0m
With Saints away and Wigan at home plus Rooney injured he’s certain to play and a good captain option.
Jelavic, Nikica

This was the most difficult.  The Tevez/RVP home and away captain choice works so well but ultimately it would have been 4 city players at a time when they dont have great fixtures and no Everton coverage when they do.  Plus the options in midfield would have been strictly limited.  Jelavic as a choice is a no brainer a great finisher a ceratinty to play and with good fixtures it wasn’t difficult.  I would have preferred Pienaar but that wasnt possible

Good luck to everyone today!!!
