Here’s my Sky Sports Fantasy Football team for GW1. Unfortunately I’ve not had time to do a pre-season round up of players so its just the team with a few basic comments

Sky Sports Fantasy football – FFGeek GW1 team

Here’s the team:

I’ve changed my tactics from last year after finishing 2200 out of an estimated 1 million which was a disappointment after 2 previous finishes of 165 and 925 prior to that.

So this year I’ve followed the more conventional view of a cheaper defence as a starter.  In the midfield I’ve gone for a blend of the tactics I used to do.  I’ve put Hazard in as last year he just killed my rank week after week.  He doesn’t have many pass and tackle bonus advantages but he is just too dangerous not to own.  Silva and Ramsey are a mixture of results and pass and tackle bonus.  Capoue and Clasie are just very cheap and I hope they can hoover up the pass bonus and tackle bonus points.  I’m hoping that as they are new to their teams/leagues that they will be undervalued for their pass and tackle bonus potential.  I’ve gone to 3-5-2 so I can have 2 big hitting strikers.

I haven’t left any money in the bank for Aguero.  I will probably just downgrade  Silva and transfer out Benteke
