The rules
There doesn’t seem to be anything different that I can initially see. Here’s the link to the rules section on the site
Geography
It’s a UK and Ireland game only.
Points
The usual points for goals and assists. There’s also a bonus for pass and tackles and shooting plus a man of the match bonus and captain double points
Formations and squad
Pretty much everything available. It’s an 11 man game with no substitutions and no price changes.
Captain changes
You can change the captain each game day. I’ve generally gone for a captain with the best goal scoring odds of the day. You can see this with coupon code from winner
Transfers
There’s 40 transfers for the season plus 2 overhauls (wildcards) with a maximum transfers of 5 per week. You have to make the transfer before the first game of the day.
Overhaul
There are 2 overhauls (wildcards). The first is after GW4 and the 2nd in February for GW22.

My first draft team
Captains
I’ve started with the captains to base my team around before I look elsewhere.
Here’s a list where they could come from going forward
GW1
Friday: Man Utd
Saturday: Spurs or Chelsea
Sunday: Liverpool Arsenal or Man City
GW2
Saturday: Chelsea Arsenal
Sunday: Man City Man Utd
Monday: Liverpool
GW3
Saturday: Man City Liverpool
Sunday: Chelsea
Monday: Man Utd or Spurs
GW4
Saturday: Man Utd Man City
Sunday: Arsenal Spurs
So from a captain point of view I need a Man Utd player, a Liverpool player and a Chelsea player.
Then for the last day of GW4 I need an Arsenal or Spurs player although I really want neither.
So to make that I’ve gone for Sanchez, Salah and Jorginho. Then I’ve gone for Ozil of Arsenal.
Structure
So my criteria to start has been to have a captain from a decent side for each gameweek and after that I’ve looked at value for players that will be standing in for players that won’t be back due to the World Cup. It does present a timing risk but I’m hoping they can get through to the first overhaul after GW4. That decision will be made closer to the start of GW1 when we can assess closer to the various returners starting prospects and timing.
Goalkeeper
I’ve gone for Patricio of Wolves. Wolves don’t have the greatest fixtures but I’ve been surprised about how highly they are rated by the bookies.
Defence
I’ve gone for Janmaat who has reasonably good fixtures for the first 4 weeks and attacking potential
Shaw is in the side as I hope with Young rested he picks up the first games. Similar thoughts govern the Laporte pick.
Van Aanholt seems good value and has good attacking potential.
Midfield
Jorginho is my captain pick for Chelsea purely due to passing bonus.
I’ve gone for Silva as with De Bruyne and Sterling late back from the World Cup I’m hoping he will play all 4 games.
Ozil has 2 tough fixtures to start but fulfils the Arsenal captain need in GW4. He did have good underlying assist stats last season and I’m hoping the last 2 fixtures can make up for the first 2.
Bissouma is a new signing for Brighton and had the most tackles per 90 mins in Ligue 1 last season. He needs monitoring to see if he gets into the side GW1
Forwards
Salah is a no brainer really with a captain requirement.
Sanchez is the Man Utd captain pick
