Sky Sports Fantasy Football – GW3 team and a few player suggestions

Here’s the team.  No changes in personnel but  I’ve switched Rooney to Captain and then taking him out for Aguero.  I’ll need to take PVA out for Watford’s Nyom to do so.

Here’s the team at the moment:

GKs and defence suggestions

I used to have alot of investment in defence but this year I’m changing as alot of what I’ve read suggests that the cheapest defence possible is the way to go as the returns are poor. So look at the suggestions on that basis

The 4 GKs I’m looking at are Boruc of Bournemouth and Gomes of Watford at £4.3m.  At £4.5m you can get Guzan of Villa and Ruddy of Norwich.  I’ve gone for Myhill at £4.8m but that will mean a transfer used which is something you will want to avoid

In terms of defenders Fullbacks are the best option as they give you more chance of tackle bonus points.  Again here’s some cheap options

CB Cathcart £3.8m and FB Nyom £4.0m.  Then there’s £4.3 CB Martin of Norwich and Palace’s FB Souare at £4.6m and Francis of Bournemouth at £4.8m

If you’re willing to go short term knowing a transfer is required later there’s FB Gomez of Liverpool at £4.7m.  FB Galloway of Everton is in place while Baines is injured at £4.0m but Everon do have tricky fixtures

Midfield suggestions

Silva at £8.9m is essential in my mind as he has points and pass bonus.

Ramsey and Cazorla at £8.2m both have pass and tackle bonus potential for Arsenal

Fernandinho at £6.6m have pass and tackle bonus potential and  YYT at £8.6m has both and points if he can return to the form of last 2 seasons.

Hazard at £9.0m doesn’t have bonus potential and is an option if you believe he can reproduce last seasons form.  Fabregas at £8.7m is the cheaper pass and tackle bonus alternative but needs to show form if he is to be an option.

If you’re after players from other sides with points and MOTM potential these are Payet West Ham  £6.2m, Mahrez Leicester £6.0m, A Ayew Swansea £6.5m, Eriksen Spurs £7.7m, Redmond Norwich £5.5m, Lens £5.9m

Then there’s a few cheap pass or tackle bonus players.  It’s bit early to say who the best options are:  Surman of Bournemouth £4.6m, Capoue of Watford £5.0m, Howson of Norwich £5.3m Gueye of Villa at £5.7m and Behrami of Watford £4.5m

Striker suggestions

A few cheap options Leicester’s Okazaki at £6.0m, Gestede of Villa at £6.3m if he can get into the team, Deeney of Watford at £7.1m although the fixtures aren’t great.  Mid price are Dious of Stoke at £7.5m, Sakho of West Ham £7.7m, Gomis of Swansea at £7.8m and Pelle of Southampton at £8.1m.  After that it’s top option of Aguero at £10.0m
