Sun Dream Team – a few words on emergency transfer 1

Sun Dream Team

I imagine you know that the time to use emergency transfer 1 is fast running out.  Here’s the thoughts on what we’ll be doing at FFGeek plus a few suggestions on some transfers that you maybe considering

sun dream team – a few words on emergency transfer 1

The emergency transfer 1`is a very much use it or lose it transfer and is available to September 1.  I’m not sure if September 1 is actually included so I would not leave it past the 31 August at the latest.  Thats after this weekends matches.  You then will have 3 transfers to use between September 1 and September 12 in transfer window 1.

Here’s my team as a reminder:

A bit of a slow start to say the least.  I gambled on overloading with Man Utd and Southampton assets due to their Champions Leagues and Europa League qualifiers .  Although Rooney (belatedly) Depay and Darmain did ok as did Pelle for Southampton the 2 Southampton defenders were a disaster as was Mane who is injured as well for tonights game.  To make it worse my Chelsea assets performed woefully as did Ozil.  No City assets due to their largely supposedly  tricky start also didn’t help.  I’m now in a rather dissapointing 300k ranking.  However Sun Dream Team gives you plenty of chances to recover and that is what transfer window 1 is for

At the moment my intention with the emergency transfer is to replace Mane for Aguero and change formation for 4-3-3.  Given that I held back £6m to get Aguero in I’m still £2m up on funds.  The team will look like this

I’ll probably do that transfer on Saturday Morning.  I’ll at least tweet and facebook it so please follow if you don’t already.  Details at the bottom of the post.

In terms of some other transfers again the clubs with European teams will have 4 extra games before transfer window 2 closes.  Again thats why I will be concentrating on those teams.   There are 2 Capital One Cup rounds however they are difficult to predict line up wise but it is possible to do well as Defoe’s hat trick owners would have seen.

I will be doing some detailed analysis of players over the transfer window and the teams with the best fixtures so I’m not going to try and replicate that here but I will give a few players I think are worth transferring in and out although it’s by no means exhaustive.  I’ve also yet to do any proper analysis on how players are performing as to bonus and 7 ratings

Players to Transfers out

I’ve just concentrated on a few players that are not selected and ignored players transferred out of their clubs and concentrated on form

Bony – looking like only 1 striker being played

Lamela £3.0m

Walcott £4.5m

Ashley Young £3.0m

Mane £3.0m unless Southampton get through

Willian £4.5m due to Pedro risk

John Terry and Ivanovic  – both could be selection risks going forward

Danny Rose – looks a selection risk

Speroni  – looks a selection risk

Good luck with your emergency transfer and the wekends matches.  Hope it’s started well for you
