Sun Dream Team emergency transfer watch and weekly FFGEEK team

Sun Dream Team

There’s one emergency transfer you can make at anytime to the end of the season in Sun Dream Team.  I’m going to try a weekly article for Sun Dream Team where I look at the major injuries in the week and assess possible emrgency transfer options on a like for like value basis.  Hope you find it useful.  I’ll also post how my team is doing and anything relevant worth mentioning

Some general points first

It’s for emergencies!

You can see my team below.  I have £3m in the bank and as much as I would like to get rid of Trippier I’m holding off for injuries or for someone losing their place in the team seemingly on a long term basis

Think about the transfer window proximity and your teams potential injury risks

The phase between TW3 and TW4 is fairly short one only 7  premier league rounds in total and 5 to go now so there’s no need to panic with any injury that happens.  It’s the key players with additional games especially that you need to be saving it for in my view.

The obvious injury risk in my team is Aguero given his history. Sterling is another and is indeed injured but not on a long term basis so I’ll hold off that.

Attacking players are the point makers so I generally want to use the transfer for attacking players not defensive players

Some recent serious injuries and similar value options

With everyone I’ll give the injury time expectation plus the 4 important stats.

1.  Points per game to date

2.  The % of games the player has got a 7+ rating which means additional points

3.  The % of games the player has got a starman award

4.  The ranking of their premier league fixture ease to the next transfer window (1 is the easiest 20 is the hardest fixtures).  Plus the additional competitions to go

Andy Carroll striker £3.5m – out for the season

 1.Kane (26%)£1.5m 5.9EL, C1 63% 14%10
 2.Austin (3%)£5.5m 5.4 52% 22%2
 3.Defoe (1%)£2.5m 3.5FA 33% 17%7
 4.Ings (1%)£2.5m 4.5 58% 21%20
 5.Berahino (3%)£2.0m 4.4FA 43% 10%13

Austin has an injury but expected back for the next PL game.

Other Injurys

Sanchez’s seems short term.  Ramsey latest is a couple of weeks.   Oscar injury seems unclear and Sterling seems short term.  Phil Jones needs monitoring as does Jon Walters.  So I’ve left it for the moment.

FFGeek Team watch

Here’s the team at the moment.  No emerg transfer risks.  A fairly good week with Kane, Aguero, Hazard and Ivanovic shining.
