So here’s the final FFGeek team for Sun Dream Team. I weirdly also ended up with another team for some reason so I did another for something to do So there’s 2.
Sun Dream Team – Final FFGeek team (hopefully)
Here’s the 2 teams. The first is supposedly the proper team:
Team 1 is very much my first team. Team 2 I did just because it was there. Rather like that packet of biscuits that you eat just for something to do. So the first team tries to strike a balance between the Euro/UCL qualifiers and players with good fixtures whereas the 2nd team is all about getting the best gameweek 1 fixtures to try and start on a positive note from a points and value perspective.
Team 1
I’ve tried to save money in defence. There have been risks coming with it though. Fonte may not be fit for the opening game after the Euro’s. Also there’s no guarantee the new West Ham LB Masuaku will start. He has had good write ups though. However I’m not going to spend money on defenders when there’s cheaper alternatives even if I do end up with a ridiculous £3.5m in the bank. I’ll use that later on.
Mahrez will be a switch to Payet after the first game. The rest of the team is fairly obvious. I know I said in previous posts that I was worried about Carrolls selection but it seems that given history Bilic will play 4-2-3-1 rather than 4-3-3 which could have caused a problem for Carroll.
Team 2
Essentially I’ve just put as many big scorers in attack in the first game as possible with the best possible defence for the first game. That’s apart from Boruc who just ended up as a plug with the money left.
