Fixture ranking
Here’s the fixture ranking for each side in terms of premier league fixtures. It ranks the teams next premier league fixtures in terms of “easiness” with 1 being the easiest and 20 having the hardest fixtures. The next column looks at it a bit further out taking it 6 fixtures from gameweek 8. The last column then reminds you of the extra fixtures they have through other competitions. It’s mainly from an attacking point of view but can be a proxy for defensive rankings too.
What does this mean?
So if you’re making transfers one of the things you might want to consider is fixtures as not only do they give points potential but also could spark some value growth. So here are a few fixture based players you may want to consider
All other things being equal Arsenal should be a prime target for your transfers. They have good premier league fixtures plus good UCL and EFL cup fixtures. Rotation will be the tricky bit. Picking a player who will play all 5 games in near impossible. The key players for me though are Sanchez (£8.9m striker) and Walcott (£4.8m) in attack. Mustafi (£5.3m) in defence
Hull are another side worth targeting and there’s only 1 player worth getting that’s Robert Snodgrass (£2.8m mid). He’s a steel
Stoke also have good fixtures if no additional competitions Arnautovic (mid now £3.3m) has struggled and seen a big price drop but he is a quality player if tempremental player and has had a good international break
Charlie Austin striker (£4.6m) is my pick for the Southampton players although by now you’ve missed the price rise and the fixtures are a bit mixed
