The FFGeek Team

Here’s the weeks scores

On what seemed like a good week I went down 70k places to 220k overall which was a real disaster.  The defence again apart from Darmian was a let down as were Hazard and the perpetual let down of Ozil.  De Bruyne again turned up trumps as did Aguero for a change.  Martial and Depay were steady.

The European games

Man Utd’s, Depay Darmain and Martial all started as LVG kept up his fairly consistent selection policy.  Mata was the star though.

Aguero and Kolarov both started for City with Aguero getting a penalty to win the match.

Ozil and Bellerin both started for Arsenal in the disastorous loss to Olympiakos with Wenger putting out a strong team.  Walcott and Sanchez again showed their recent form ascoring

Hazard didn’t start against Porto and Ivanovic had the customary nightmare.  A strong Chelsea team though except for a couple of Mourinho statement rotations

A very rotated Liverpool team drew with Sion.  Lallana scored.

Spurs put a strong side out with inform Lamela scoring

Therefore strong teams all round apart from Liverpool which was very rotated

Injuries and emergency transfer suggestions

No doubt the major injury of the week was £2.0m Bournemouth forward cheapie Callum Wilson who’s out for 6 months and an immediate transfer out.

The replacements for me would be £1.5m Leicester forward Jamie Vardy, £1.0m Watford forward Ighalo, £1.5m Villa forward Gestede and £2.5m Sakho of West Ham.  No European involved forwards in the frame unfortuantely.

The other 2 major injuries were YaYa Toure and Koscielny who look like they’ll be out for 2-3 weeks.  With a 2 week international break coming up I’d probably not transfer out.

Player stats

Here’s the games and MOTM awards.  Typically very striker and midfield heavy with only 1 defender or GK.
