Here’s some thoughts on the emergency transfer thats currently available in Sun Dream Team from my teams perspective

The two ‘Emergency Transfers’ will be during the following periods (one single player transfer in each):
1. 9am September 15, 2014 to 9am on January 5, 2015.
2. 9am on January 5, 2015 to the kick-off of the last eligible match.
I’m sure you’ll all be aware that Debuchy seriously injured his ankle and could be out for a couple of months. That put him in the frame for an immediate transfer. At one stage I thought Lovren at home to Ludogerets and with good fixtures would be the perfect switch. That soon turned out to be a mirage. Another alternative would have been Coleman for £4.5m if you had some cash to spare.
However in the end I went back to basics of the midfielders and strikers historically being the highest scoring positions. Then reflecting on my team I realised I had a number of injury prone players in Costa , Aguero, Silva and Lamela any of which could fall injured long term at any time. At some stage I will use it but even if I use it late on it gives me the chance to have an extra transfer once the Group stages of the Champions league are over. Thats when the advantage of being in Europe will diminish. The last Champions League group game is December 10 and after that maybe the latest point to make the emergency transfer if you haven’t already
