Sun Dream Team tips – FFgeek Sun Pundit Simon Rowley talks through his team

Season so far

Decent enough start to the season, with 166 points, leaving me 132,675 overall. Kane let me down so far, but its a brave decision if you get rid of him now.

Transfers

In order to avoid the price changes at the end of game week 3, I did 3 transfers, using Augusts allocation –
Kolasanic to Otamendi
KDB to D Silva
Lacazette to Morata.
Otamendi is loved by the dreamteam scoring system, and gets far more star man awards than he should. KDB seems to be playing a lot deeper this season (so far), with D Silva being the creative hub. Morata started the season well, 2 goals and 2 assists, I think it is, and is the attacking focal point (may also have penalties). This meant my team value rose to £51.7M (£1M of which was in the bank).

Further transfers

I’ve done 2 further transfers today, using Septembers allocation –
Stephens to Hegazi
Willian to Siggy.
I always intended the Willian/Siggy transfer (corner and free kick duty, assist king, maybe penalties, and in Europe), but did Stephens/Hegazi as a bit of a gamble. Saints signed another centre half in the transfer window, and with Van Dijk staying, Stephens game time could be seriously reduced. Hegazi has obviously started the season well, and at the moment looks a cheap access into the WBA defence (at least until maybe McAuley returns). Evans getting back to fitness hopefully wont cost him his place, if last season is anything to go by, Dawson will just move to right back.

Looking forward

Pickfords injury needs monitoring, but I’m happy to wait and see with him. Apart from that, my team looks in decent shape for the month ahead, with 10 playing in Europe (btw, I’m not convinced Arsenal will play their first 11 in the Europa league, that’s something to consider).

As always, I will post any transfers on twitter (@upthevale1), and will try to avoid doing them last minute! Good luck to everyone!
