KEY:

1. Rank: My view of their rank given the various stats
2. Cost: Their cost in Sun Dream Team
3. PPG 15/16:   The total points divided by the games played for 14/15. The higher the better. The Sun Dream Team supplies games including sub appearances which makes the information a bit distorted.
4. Extra Comps:  The additional competitions the team is in apart from the Premier league.  UCL is the Champions League and EL is the Europa League. C1 is the Capital One.
6. The % of 7+ plus awards of their total games.  This gives a general indication of Sun Dream Teams view of the player.
7. The % of Starman awards.Again this gives a general view of the players starman potential
8. Fixture ease. This is the rank of how easy their fixtures are to the 2nd transfer window.

Silva

Playing centrally in an attacking position, the attacking hub of a very inform Man City team which should help 7 ratings and star man awards. A consistent performer who will also benefit from the new assist rule. Man City have good fixtures in the PL even if the UCl group is tricky.  Does have a risk of being shunted to the flank though.

YYT

Great start for Man City but playing from a deeper position can he keep it up is the question?

Pedro

Off to a great start in his first 2 games for Chelsea and will play in an advanced position. A goal scorer and assister. Proven pedigree although every player comes with some new player to the league risk.

Here’s my FPL article which gives an overall insight

fantasy premier league Pedro prospects – new player profile

De Bruyne

The new Man City acquisition is great value compared to YYT and Silva even if unproven in the PL. fantastic stats even if in the German League. Has new player to the league risk.

fantasy premier league new players – the basics on the late transfer window additions

Sterling

The Man City winger has had a mixed start but vital to the team due to his ability to get behind defences with his speed. Also played part of the Watford game as a striker alongside Aguero which was interesting

Depay

The Man Utd wide player/support striker has got off to a slow start apart from the 2 goals against Brugge. Does have a strong pedigree although all from the Dutch league. Tricky PL fixtures although the UCL fixtures are good. Has risk with Man Utds attacking form being very poor.

Henderson

A bit of a risky play due to the fact that he doesn’t play in that advanced position for Liverpool. However does have an all action box to box style and pens which could help things. EL fixtures aren’t that easy which should mean minimal rotation

Cazorla

Like Henderson the Arsenal midfielder will normally play in the 2 of 4-2-3-1 so comes from a deep position which isn’t ideal from the goal and assist point of view. Does have pens which is a positive. However the strong attacking influence he has on the team does seem to see that he gets good consistent positive ratings

A Ayew

The Swansea midfielder/support striker has great form so far with 3 goals in 4 games and did play as a striker for part of the last game against Man Utd. Good record in France as well. Lack of additional European games is a disadvantage but Swansea should be looking to win the Cap 1 which should help

fantasy premier league new players to pick – Swansea’s Andre Ayew

Mata

The former Sun Dream Team darling is playing on the right of the midfield for Man Utd so isn’t as successful as he was centrally.  Seems to have secured the spot for the moment though
